I didn't stay in the hotel, but came with my partner and a few other couples for four hours at the spa.
I cannot fault it. Amazing experience. Many different areas and features to explore.
You will leave feeling very smooth and rejuvenated.

What a spectacular place. They put the treat in retreat. It's so peaceful, so pleasant. Only suggestion would be no cellphones allowed in the bathing areas.

This is the second time we have visited. I wrote that it was our wedding aniversary when I booked the room and was congratulated when we checked in.

When we went to the spa we asked if there was something my wife could not do as she is pregnant and we got good guidance.

After a great time at the spa we went for dinner and they congratulated us on the pregnancy. We were quite blown away by the level of service and authentic smiles by everyone in the reception.

The dinner was interesting and special in a good way and the service of Sara was both professional and warm.
The night topped with Gabriel the Italien waiter. He was both funny and friendly and made us feel at home and we talked about our experience the rest of the night.

In my line of work as a Sales Coach I know a lot about the importance of making a good impression, caring about others, and staying authentic.

The service has so far been so good that I have felt the urge to leave this comment even before our stay has ended.
I would hire every single one of the personel we have met today.

Beautiful spa & hotel! Very nice location.
We chose the overnight package with dinner at Logen, breakfast & of course spa. All the rooms seem great but i do recommend paying extra for the suits with a sauna and access to the natural pool! It truly elevates the experience. Dinner and the breakfast buffet were top notch!

The spa area is really nice! We really appreciated the greenery and foliage dense walking trails around the spa. Good offering of saunas and pools. There’s quite a lot to see and do, I recommend reading through the pamphlet to get the most out of your stay.

Only real area of improvement in my opinion would the lack of tea & fruits. Many spas I’ve been to have offered this free of charge. There is however a bar where you can buy drinks and snacks. All in all we were happy with our stay and easily recommend Ästad to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or just a relaxing day/evening spa.

Fantastic SPA, especially if you like a cold plunge.

Plenty of saunas to choose from in the Spa, as well as one in our room.

Great food at both restaurants, but I would really recommend going the extra mile for Äng.

This place really lives up to the photos. Food is great. We sprung for the beachfront villa and were glad we did. You basically step out onto the beach from your room and it’s magical. The staff is also very sweet and attentive. Would highly recommend Zazen to anyone!

We spent three days at the Zazen Boutique & Spa Resort to unwind, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is stunning, with small bungalows spread across the property, creating a spacious and tranquil atmosphere. Our SEAVIEW TROPICAL SUITE was beautifully furnished in a modern boho style and fully equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the veranda in the evening, enjoying the view, was absolutely fantastic.

The resort has comfortable loungers both on the beach and by the pool, where there’s also a pool bar playing music, adding to the relaxed vibe. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially in the restaurant, where the service was top-notch. Special thanks to Aung
Myo, who was knowledgeable, efficient, and a genuinely kind person.

The food was a perfect mix of Western and Thai dishes, and the quality was outstanding—simply delicious!

All in all, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We would love to come back!

Heaven on earth. Beautiful rooms.  This resort is serenity at its best.  Thoughtfully laid out, the colour scheme divine and the staff are angels. Our trip to Zazen was originally booked for 2020 however, the pandemic occurred. Our booking was honoured 4 years later and we could not be more thankful. The wait was well worth it as our stay at Zazen was nothing short of perfect.

The rooms and resort grounds are beautiful. The detail and care put into the design of every part of the property makes this place all the more special. From the pool, to the beach front to the restaurant, we were in heaven.

What truly sets Zazen apart, however, is the exceptional service. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff go above and beyond to ensure that every moment of your visit is memorable. Their genuine warmth and hospitality make you feel like a cherished guest in their own home. We spent a significant amount of time by the pool and garden area and were blown away by the attentive service. A special shout out to Phat!

We stayed at the Zazen Hotel, and it was amazing! A perfect place to relax. The outdoor massage was fantastic, the pool very enjoyable, and the food was excellent with a mix of traditional and Western dishes. The staff was attentive and always smiling.
