The experience at La Bottega di Michele was well above the image the street portrayed. The staff were delightful, polite, and courteous. And the meals were so good we came back a second time. I would happily recommend this restaurant to any of my friends visiting the city.

Delicious! The best caprese salad I've ever had, the service was great, everyone was very friendly and a really good atmosphere. Highly recommend, if you do, try and book before hand as the outside tables fill up fast.

We tried the Linguini Fruta di Mare, and while the ingredients were fresh, the dish lacked any distinctive flair; it felt like food without soul. The female service was pleasant, but the male service left much to be desired. Overall, the meal felt a bit overpriced considering the lack of passion in its preparation, which is something you can truly taste. Perhaps the experience would be better on a day other than Sunday.

Had a gorgeous meal here a few weeks ago and was served by the lovely Victor. I had been craving a dish that wasn't on the menu and he organised for the kitchen to make it up for me. I also ordered a bottle of red instead of white and he had no problem in swapping it our for us. All the staff were lovely and pleasant and food was fantastic. Will definitely be back when I visit again!
