Great Plains launches Mpala Jena Private Villas – 

an exclusive safari experience in Zimbabwe

Whether you're traveling with family or looking for the perfect destination for a romantic honeymoon, 

 offers an experience beyond the ordinary. Each villa features three suites, private lounges, its own pool, a butler, and a personal guide. The interiors draw inspiration from the vaulted ceilings and open spaces of Puglia, infused with African soul and an earthy aesthetic.

Tracy Kelly’s design philosophy reflects a balance between the rustic and the functional, using natural materials, local stone, textured textiles, and a design language that blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors. The villas are tailor-made for those seeking time, space, and freedom in the heart of nature.

Unforgettable Activities at Mpala Jena Private Villas

Guests at the villas enjoy exclusive access to a private safari vehicle and motorboat at no extra charge. All activities are tailored to your preferences, from morning game drives to sunset river cruises or sailing aboard a historic dhow from Zanzibar. A guided half-day excursion to Victoria Falls, as well as transfers to and from Victoria Falls International Airport, are also included.

The villas also feature private river pavilions, discreetly elevated above the Zambezi River - ideal spots for relaxing while zebras roam around the nearby waterholes. With complete seclusion, personalized service, and nature right outside your door, this is a safari experience in its most exclusive form. Rates start at USD 6,625 per night, all-inclusive.

A More Accessible Option – Mpala Jena Camp

For those seeking a more accessible safari experience without compromising on style and quality, Mpala Jena Camp offers a charming alternative to the private villas. Here, guests stay in tastefully decorated canvas tents with thatched roofs, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. The atmosphere is relaxed yet luxurious, with sandy floors in the bar and sun loungers that seem to float above the river

The stay includes guided safaris, boat excursions, a half-day trip to Victoria Falls, all meals and beverages, as well as transfers to and from Victoria Falls International Airport. Rates start from USD 940 per person per night, all-inclusive.
