MISLEADING. NOT HOTEL. COULD NOT CHECK IN.
They do not even have a proper reception, so don't bother if you want a comfortable and smooth vacation experience. We arrived and buzzed to be let in to which no one answered the door. We were only let into the building by two girls who were staying at this place and even they told me that they struggled to check in and they also waited a very long time to even receive a response from the manager. When we were let in by the two girls, the entrance to the building was worn down and sketchy. Since we could not check in, we called the property twice and messaged them through multiple messaging apps to get in contact, to which they did not respond to until an hour later (they also gave us the wrong number to contact them with). They are notorious for this and looking at the reviews, it is clear I am not the only one who experienced this. Also, the property is  NOT A HOTEL, but rather a hostel with shared bathrooms. You can find good quality hotels in the same area with private bathrooms and cleaner environment with the same price.

The hotel was terrible. The room was in bad conditions, the floor was almost loose, the bathroom was so small. In general it looks like it was a house converted in a ''hotel'' you could hear the other guests. And I asked for a favor if they could receive a package for me and keep it there while I arrived, they told me they had no problem that they were going to be waiting for it, and they kept it and told me they didn't received anything. There is no staff the whole day so if you need help for something there's nobody that can help you. Really bad experience.

My recent experience at Factory Suites Barcelona was incredibly disappointing and not at all what was advertised. The photos online are misleading; they do not accurately represent the actual condition of the rooms. Upon arrival, I found that the room I booked was nothing like the spacious and modern space depicted online.

To make matters worse, the bathroom was located outside of the room, which was not mentioned in the booking details.

Due to these significant discrepancies and the poor condition of the room, I made the decision to leave after only an hour or so.

Overall, this was a really bad experience and I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. The discrepancy between the advertised and actual accommodations, coupled with the unresponsiveness of the hotel staff, made for an incredibly frustrating stay. There are far better options available in Barcelona that will provide a more accurate representation of what you're paying for.

The absolute WORST “Hotel” I’ve EVER encountered…and I travel A LOT. I even had to cancel our trip after just one day and change Hotels, which is something that I usually would NEVER do.

Here are all the problems we have encountered, from least annoying to the worst: (Mind you we had the more expensive superior suite)

-First off: This is not a “Hotel” by any means. It’s one big flat where they rent out the rooms. Giving hostel vibes.
- Loose doorknobs
- Lacking english communication skills.
- There are no workers around, since there is no real reception.
- Need an outlet? It’s 2,5 meters high on the wall. I hope you’re tall.
- There is literally no ceiling lighting. A couple tiny bulbs across the room that don’t do anything.
- No real toilet paper roll holder. You have to stand up to reach on top of a shelf.
- You get 3 different keys to get to your room. One for the apartment complex, one for the apartment itself, one for your own room.
- Breakfast was not filled up on our second day. We didn’t even have water bottles. Things that had been eaten the day before, hadn’t been filled up the next day.
- You’re thinking “Oh great, they have a balcony!”. Have fun standing in a puddle of water coming from their AC, which ends up in a dirty container that’s overflowing.
- I hope you like the community of this flat because you will hear them coming in and out at all times during the night. You’ll be able to hear ANYTHING they do.
- Loose, broken, missing, uneven, shattered tiles which crackle when you walk and make you fear getting shards into your skin.
- Doors that do not close and also do not lock properly, but who cares about safety, right?
- When we arrived we had to wait outside of the apartment complex, in front of locked doors for 20 minutes for someone to let us in. We rang the bell multiple times, no answer. I had to call them twice for someone to be called over and finally open the door.
- Want to take a relaxing shower or simply go to the toilet? Scratch that. The lights will go out after 30 seconds and you’ll have to physically get up from the toilet or step out of the shower to make it turn on again.
- Speaking of a relaxing shower: The shower is NOT even 1mx1m. It’s completely falling apart and barely holding together.
- This shower was what lead me to the edge because while I was taking a shower the COMPLETE door was unhinged and fell on my back. I had to physically lift the whole door and put it back in, while soaking wet. We didn’t even want to shower anymore after that and dreaded going back to the apartment.

Mind you this all happened on our first day and I got in contact with booking, the “Hotel” and their “reception” right away. Everyone left me waiting for HOURS and DAYS. I had to reach out to them MYSELF to finally get answers to the questions I already called them about. I ran after them for FIVE Days to finally give me a confirmation of the refund (we had to stay for one more night since they were taking so long and only got back the other 3 days we didn’t stay yet) and I just got it after I threatened to sue them over the shower door falling on me and their multiple safety hazards.

NOTHING could EVER make me go back into this “Hotel” and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

An authentic Spanish experience: clean and airy room (superior twin) with access to shared kitchen, lounge, and courtyard space. Very quiet and everything we wanted within 15 min walk. Really glad we found it.
