I rarely give reviews but gotta give this one a 5 stars. The facilities are very nice, chill, and spacious. Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, special thanks to Joyce, and the girl with hijab on (sorry I didn’t know your name).
This is a perfect place if this is your first time playing, or if you are trying to get your friends into escape rooms. My friends were obsessed. We had a fun night, and even wanted to play another room right after the first one.
The wifi or signal is pretty weak down there tho.
Overall, excellent experience. Will bring more friends and come back next time. Thank you guys

This escape room facility is awesome! There is a bar lounge if you want to relax before you start. The puzzles are fair and unlimited hints. We had to ask for three and escaped with 15 mins. To spare! Would recommend this to everyone and great activity for a date night!

We did Jack the Ripper (and made it out!) as a group of 7.

Our game master was super friendly and explained the rules clearly to us. The puzzles were challenging and appropriately rated. The place is really clean and all the mechanics for the puzzles were working. The puzzles are modern, tie into the room’s theme, and are interactive.

We did have a small hiccup with one of the doors but they gave us some time back, and on our way out, one of the workers addressed the issue and told us of their solution moving forward to stop that from happening. A business that can recognize an issue quickly and solve it for future guests deserves a 5 star.

We will definitely be back to try the rest!

Had an amazing time at this new escape room downtown! The location is super convenient and easily accessible by TTC. The rooms are well-designed—challenging but definitely solvable, making for a fun and rewarding experience. The whole place has a chill, engaging atmosphere, and the staff are super friendly. Just a heads-up the rooms are downstairs and cell service can be a bit spotty - but that just adds to the immersion (you can't take your phones inside the rooms anyway, and they have board games in the lounge while you wait). Definitely worth checking out!

Very very nice lounge, the escape room experience was amazing! We did “Scarlet’s Whisper” and its complexity of puzzles was really good, the horror story was very engaging as well with decent jump scares.

I do wish though that the experience was a little more immersive like other escape rooms. For example, if the narration is saying that smoke seeped through the room, then maybe have some fog roll in from under a door or something of the sort.
Staff were very kind and helpful throughout the process!

Did the "diamond heist" room and it was so fun. Lots of different rooms and a good difficulty level. Had a lot of fun doing the room with my boyfriend! Go here :) we got out!! Jenn and priscila are beautiful and wonderful workers :)

A surprisingly great experience for such a small place! My friends and I did the Diamond Heist game and it was a lot of fun. It was a little on the easier side compared to other escape rooms I've done but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The riddles are interesting and require thought but are easy enough for non-experienced escape room players. I would go back to try the other two games as they sound a bit more exhilarating.

my friends and I did the Diamond Heist theme escape room at this downtown location Trapped!. The place itself was really small and I think that's why the room we were in was really small too. The Diamond Heist theme only had like 3-4 puzzles that we had to solve out of the escape time we had, and their equipment and timer malfunctioned a few times throughout out experience which totally brought us out of it. Didn't really like the theme story either. We were also really disappointed by the room for the price that we had to pay. Even though they offered student discount but the whole escape room experience felt like it wasn't worth the $24 we paid.

Totally reasonable price for the challenge and trickery. Competed the diamond heist and is easily in the top 3 I've done (I've done about a dozen) Only downsides was that the props had some wear - letters were hard to read (could use some permanent marker retracing).

I've fought the room escape craze for over a year here in Toronto, but this weekend my group of sister wives and I gave in and checked out Trapped! It was a hoot. I'm one of those sad adults that gets scared easily, so we opted for their Diamond Heist story line. You have 45 minutes to accomplish some physical, intellectual and puzzle tasks to steal some rich dude's giant diamond. From lasers, to mind screws, to math and music, it was lots of fun! Now that I've tested out these games, I think I'll come back and brave the serial killer or zombie apocalypse one soon. As mentioned, this was my first time at one of these places, so I don't have much to compare it to. I will say, though, that I feel it's top notch. The rooms are intricate, the staff is friendly and fun, and I highly recommend it. Lastly, I'd like to tell R Kelly (I know you're reading this, R), that you should buy a franchise of Trapped! and create a series of closet-escape rooms. Duh.

This was my first escape room experience. I went with a group of 6 which I highly recommend. The bigger the group the more minds you have to figure out clues! We did the claustrophobia room. It's actually pretty scary before you get into the room as they show you a video of the background story. However, once you get over the fear and into the game it's not scary at all lol. I thought the set up and theme was great. The game really makes you work as a team. We luckily made it out (thanks to me lol) which made the experience even more enjoyable.

This was fuuuun! We came here to celebrate my brothers 16th bday and we had a blast. We did the Pandemic room which is the "easier" one of the 2 in this location. As newbies we got stuck a couple of times, thankfully we were given 3 hints by the super friendly staff and we manage to get out of the room in about 1 hr. YES they gave us extra time. P.S My brother got in for free because it was his birthday! I know what I'll be doing on my bday

Have you ever wonder what it would feel like to be one of those SAW victims? Well Claustrophobia at Trapped! will put you into a very uncomfortable position as you work together in a group to try to escape a pyscho serial murder torture room. We came here with a group of my friends for my birthday unfortunately we had more than 7 people so we had to split up into two groups and each group had to do different rooms. If you get a chance to be the team leader for this room, take it, you get a good surprise in the beginning. The challenges were pretty easy and once you get one puzzle done the rest seem pretty straight forward. We had to use help button once and it kind of ruined it a bit for us because the employee, even though she had good intentions, told us too much about the certain puzzle and after that made it very easy the rest of the way and we didn't feel challenged. The production of the room was ok, but it did feel creepy in there but could be a bit more realistic. Some items they used to make it seem like a murder's trapped room was cheesy. Overall Trapped puts on a good production. I would like to try to the other rooms though. I was thoroughly entertained by this escape game and would come back to try the other rooms.

A few friends were visiting from out of town and wanted to try out escape games, so we brought them to Trapped based on the positive reviews here on Yelp! We tried the claustrophobia room - we booked on Friday and there were only two slots available, so I would recommend booking early! (You can do this in person or on their website.) Before entering your escape room, you are led into a small room with a TV that will explain how the rooms work as well as the room's story background. The room itself is quite small, but what else were you expecting? It's called Claustrophobia! Without giving too much away, it's a room that requires a lot of communication and team work, so don't be afraid to talk to your teammates (because, well, you kinda have to!) Reception was really nice and helped us when we needed hints, even gave us a little bit extra time as we came so close to getting out before the timer went off! Great room for beginners and casuals alike! The only reason why I haven't given full stars is because I've been in much more theatrical rooms, so my standards are pretty high :)

Fun times. We did the Claustrophobia room based on Yelp reviews. The ladies who were running the joint were really nice and patient, and very reassuring for my teammates who were incredibly nervous to go in. (None of us had done an escape room before) It's better with these things to know as little as possible. So I won't go in to too much! We didn't ask for a hint but the lady did enter the room and help guide us a bit around the 15 minute left mark. We ended up escaping with six minutes left. If we had previously experience with escape rooms, I think our timing would have been better, because we would have been less cautious to grab and move things. Very fun over all - perfect for a group of 4 or 5.
