This is beautiful boutique hotel (10 rooms) right at the edge of the upper kasbah wall. The hotel is stunning, very well kept up, beautiful art, and a terrace that will tempt you to forgo exploring the city. We spent two nights in two of the smaller rooms, which were fine. Some of the larger rooms looked exquisite, and I would have splurged on one of those if not for our sons. There is no AC, and the lively area and bright lights don't make for easy sleeping, but the location and service more than made up for that. That said, you should check out the rooms and ask the staff what room is best for your needs. Very good breakfast served on the terrace. The terrace is so comfortable and offers a stellar view. Everything is walking distance. Service is top-shelf: helpful, friendly, and informative.To top it all off, an easy 10-min walk to the ferry on the day we left. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I stayed at La Tangerina for 3 wonderful days at the end of February this year. It was our first stop on our tour of Morocco, and what a pleasant start it was!! It was definitely the most charming and comfortable Riad of our whole trip, made especially delightful with the warm welcome we were given by the owner, Farida, and her friendly young staff! We were fortunate enough to be allocated the uppermost room that opened up to the lovely rooftop terrace, overlooking the Straight of Gibraltar! The room was extremely comfortable and it felt like we had the whole terrace to ourselves! What a peaceful, and beautiful setting! The breakfasts they served were also top notch and delicious!
The hotel has been so lovingly restored with artistic accents that personalize it and give it a delightfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is also in a perfect location, within walking distance to many good restaurants and the waterfront.
I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Tangier.

Very charming guest house in a very good location. When we arrived we had no introduction or any information about the hotel and the area. I felt a bit uncomfortable. Few details such the linen and towels should be looked after. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but all in all a very nice clean place to stay.

Visited Tangier in August of 2023. The service and location was incredible. The owners are the sweetest humans and were so accommodating when my boyfriend and I showed up exhausted, full of luggage with no where to go and a fully booked hotel. These guys played a major role in our Tangier experience and we will be visiting them again

The spa has no toilet/ changing room etc. So have to sort yourself out whilst the staff sit in from of you in a very small space (chatting and watching YouTube videos…. ) Ie not v relaxing

The level of customer service and professionalism is second to none. The food was OK, much smaller than what I expected but still tasted good. The atmosphere and attention to detail inside the restaurant made it a superb dining experience.

Cozy basement bar, went for a drink and had the creme brûlée. The prices here are high but it’s to be expected. They took the care to order us a taxi and instruct him on where to take us, which was appreciated.

They have a small, formal dining room upstairs, and a charming  Moroccan style speak easy downstairs.  Downstairs is where you want to try to eat/drink.  Smoking is allowed downstairs but it’s well ventilated.  Downstairs is what makes this place special, but seating is limited, so get here early and specify you want to eat dinner downstairs.  My wife had the lamb dish which she loved as it was sweet, and well presented.  The lamb is a shredded layer topped with rice and sweet potatoes. I ordered the center cut stake with fries.  My order of medium rare came out rare, so you might be better off ordering it medium if you want The steak to be seared on the outside and cooked to a warm red center with a hint of pink. Where it still has some firmness but is still juicy and tender. If you are looking for unique and special, it’s the speak easy (1920’s style bar) downstairs, the fine dining quality and presentation, and for a fairly reasonable price.  We spent $120 for two beautiful main course meals, 1 wonderful desert, 3 beers, and two cocktails.  Again, just make sure you get down into the speakeasy for that special charm you are looking for.

Located in the Kasbah section of old Tangier, we stopped here for lunch on a day of sightseeing. It was a very mellow experience, with wonderful service, delicious food, and a luxe and calming setting. Our server said evenings were much busier. We had several starters, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water which came out to $74USD. Highly recommended as a stop to fortify on a day of exploring the old town. Note that there is a narrow stairway leading up to the main floor of the restaurant. I am not sure if there is an elevator

Had an excellent dinner! Food was finely presented & service was 5 stars! It’s what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant!

We started off with a couple of drinks at the bar which had the most awesome vibe to it. They do a really good Negroni!

We had the tuna tartare & the burrata in Taktouka to start. Both had a nice hint of Moroccan to it. Our mains were the John Dory fish in creamy saffron risotto & Chicken Pastilla. Fish was cooked to perfection, loved the lemon foam on top. Children Pastilla was probably the one item not on top of our list.

For desserts, we tried the lemon meringue pie & creme brûlée with saffron - both amazing tasting!

Also really enjoyed the wines - tried the rosé and a bottle of Moroccan white.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there! Would have loved it if the live band was playing, I’m sure!
