Lovely view of MBS and Esplanade from here, but the quality of food and service could be better.

We supplemented $28++ for the first course "Crudo de Pescato", only for them to completely miss out on serving us the caviar that was supposed to come with it. Service staff was not that apologetic about it, neither did they try to make up for it in any way. They simply just took back the plate and returned it. The pasta dish "Seaside" was decent, sauce was rich and flavourful.

For the second course, while the food were plated nicely as expected of a Michelin Star restaurant, the taste failed to meet the standards of one. Seabass was overcooked which resulted in a dry and chewy texture. Guinea fowl and sundried tomato sausage had pretty much the same texture profile, causing the entire dish to feel rather one dimensional. Truffle sauce felt a tad bit overpowering as well, and does not seem to complement the overall dish.

Dessert was unique with the bitter nibs and balsamic providing a savoury twist to the cherry and gelato, but personally am not a fan of the combination. Hazelnut chocolate from the Petit Four was my favourite.

Overall, this place fell short of the standards meant to be upheld by a Michelin Star restaurant. The flavour profiles of the food did not amaze us, neither did the service make us feel accommodated in this establishment.

The service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. We shared the Summer Salad and Scallop Carpaccio. The salad dressing was fantastic, and the carpaccio was fresh and light. Our server highly recommended the 32 Egg Yolk Taglierini, so we decided to try that as well. The stockfish sauce was impressively flavorful.

For the main course, I chose the Dry-aged Sardinian Seabass, which was accompanied by a delightful sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly. I also sampled the Santa Margherita Prawn Tagliolini, but it was a bit too sour for my liking, so I was glad I didn’t order it. My wife had the Roasted Angus Tenderloin, and she found it tender and well-matched with the surprisingly light brandy sauce.

For dessert, we opted for the Basil Gelato and Chocolate Gelato. They were decent.

All in all, we had a lovely experience at the restaurant.

Service is Great. Hosts are welcoming. Food is all right but not great. The view and vibe is beautiful. A clean view on Singapore’s Bay Area (MBS and Gardens by the Bay). We ordered two set lunch for Saturday which is around $370 (after ++) with white truffle addon.

At time, the service crew seems to be in a rush to always clean our used utensil, I like the active self initiatives however, it often disrupted my conversations with my counterpart for a long awaited catchup.

The food is all right. Very Italian like the ones I had in Italy, it’s more like simple good food with the taste of the ingredients itself.

**The below view are purely subjective to me (who enjoys Italian dishes a lot)

In general, the pasta is a bit salty. I ordered the white truffle pasta, they live shave the white truffle ($88 add-on).  The saltiness overshadows the aroma from the truffle. A bit of disappointment for this one.

Food is all normal, portion is more than enough for the set lunch. However, the dishes didn’t surprise me at all. Food is not like a real treat to my palate. Bread is not warm enough when served. I would recommend go for more non starred restaurants for new food experience.

Their bread, butter, and, of course, pasta is the best you can get in Singapore. Honestly, they are very price-competitive considering the level of experience, food, and location. Their mood and atmosphere are just nothing less than great. I visited them yesterday for dinner, and I am visiting them again for lunch today.
