Bubbly!! The music is all you need for real. Downside for me was the wait time for our drinks. The mixologist seemed to be new or a little inexperienced so they took too long in making one cocktail and we were a group of 5.

I am deeply disturbed by my experience at La Lounge and feel the need to share my story. My friend and I, both women, were physically assaulted by a group of men  while we were enjoying our night at the venue. When we tried to get help from the security guards, they did absolutely nothing to stop the situation. In fact, instead of holding the men who was attacking us, they restrained me, allowing them to continue there aggression.
To make matters even worse, the security staff informed us that the same men had previously assaulted another woman in the club the night before and was still allowed back in. It was shocking to hear that not only had they gotten away with assaulting someone else, but they was also allowed to continue there behavior without facing any real consequences. This made me feel even more unsafe and helpless.
As a woman, I expect to be able to go out and feel protected, especially in a place that claims to offer a safe and enjoyable environment. La Lounge completely failed to provide that. The security staff's failure to intervene and their complete disregard for the safety of female patrons is inexcusable.
I urge management to take a serious look at how they handle safety and make the necessary changes. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone, especially women who deserve to feel safe and respected.

In this instance, individuals who were subjected to inappropriate or harassing behavior were not met with the swift and decisive action that is promised. If security personnel were truly enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy, the behavior in question would have been addressed immediately, and the perpetrators would have been removed from the premises without hesitation. However, the failure to intervene, coupled with a lack of acknowledgment of the issue, suggests that the establishment’s commitment to safety may not be as robust as claimed.
For any venue to be truly safe and secure, it is not enough to simply state policies. They must be actively enforced, and patrons should feel that their well-being is prioritized in both word and deed. The fact that this issue was not addressed in a timely manner raises concerns about the actual enforcement of these policies and whether the safety of all individuals within the venue is being properly upheld.
This counter-argument addresses the failure to follow through on the stated safety measures while reinforcing the idea that actions speak louder than words.

This venue is a dangerous place for women, and the security staff actively enables violence.

I witnessed an attack on two women at this venue, and the security did nothing to stop it. A group of men physically assaulted them, and rather than stepping in to protect them, the security staff held the women back while the men continued their attack.

Even before the attack, the women had asked for help, warning security that the man was harassing them. Security ignored their concerns and refused to remove him, even though they admitted he had assaulted someone the night before. When the women begged security to do something, they made one of them walk through the crowd to find the man herself—risking her own safety—just so they could do nothing after she found him.

After leaving the venue, one of the attackers followed them to their car, verbally assaulted and threatened them. He then parked his car, ran up to theirs, and physically attacked them again. Even then, security did nothing to protect them.

One of the women was left with a swollen face and deep emotional distress. The fact that security stood by and watched this unfold proves that this venue is not just unsafe, but outright dangerous for women.

This place does not care about your safety. If you are a woman, do not come here—you are not protected.

Had an issue with how tickets were released for an event taking place here and the security/doorman over charged and over abused his authority despite having email communications with the event organiser about tickets.

As others have mentioned the upstairs of the venue is rather small. A corner bar and
6/7 booths and mirrors everywhere, giving the illusion of space. Barely had space to get out the booth and go to the bar. there's no standing area so you're standing in front of booths or standing on the seats of the booth because you cannot stand anywhere else..

The bar staff were lovely as were the bottle ladies! Full of energy and vibes!!

Great spot for those who don't like bigger club venues and don't mind being in close proximity to everyone. The event itself was nice as was the crowd and finding the location.

Would be great for private birthday hires, everyone has a table and small space for the dance floor kings & Queens

This place was over-hyped! A gargantuan let-down and disappointment. They had every seat and table fake 'reserved' with signs on the tables. The minuscule bar area has no stools or seats! Guests have to congregate in the narrow passage between bar and dance floor if they have no reservations. Disheartening. I waited till 0300 am to see if any of the 'reserved' seats would be filled. No way. No-one showed up. I was charged £10 ticket, and paid £10 for a lousy over-priced drink. The girls were beautiful, sexy and hot, though. No problem there. But the whole seating setup thoroughly disgusted me. Lounge advertises 'floors of music', but just one part of 1 floor was open for business as described. Money hungry owners have ruined the club experience for young and old alike! The music was good, but nary a one, danced. Probably because of the offensive lack of seating and comfort. Lounge? Don't make me laugh.  Your name insults LA, USA!
