Lovely location. Confusing for Hotel Guests why here the sauna is suddenly gender split and without cloth, no consistency. Also the actual sauna room is not really fresh anymore. Unfortunately the sauna s gas powered, that’s not really time adequate anymore.

If you come here one day, this restaurant is THE place you HAVE to try. I’ve had one of the best meals of my life here. Everything is fresh and comes from a nearby farm. The cooks are excellent (open kitchen). The seasoning of each of the dishes that we had was to die for. And I mean: we live in Paris and we’ve tried many Michelin star restaurants (aka i’m picky and I love to complain 😅). I’m very sad we cannot take this place back home with us. You’d see me there every couple weeks. Try the chanterelles and the artichoke. They are absolutely delicious.

The best place in Båstad? Yes, right now I would say so. A nice intimate restaurant and wine bar.  Close to the the chef preparing the meal while the service give you great insight into the wine options. Don’t leave without trying the Gnocchi and the Basque Cheesecake.
