Our dining experience was wonderful! The orange sauce with the calamari was delightful, and the lemon risotto was absolutely perfect. It was such a unique dish, I’ve never tasted anything like it—the hazelnuts were such an inspired crunchy addition to a creamy dish. My husband loved his duck entree and this is a meal we’ll both remember fondly.

Prob one of the best pate dishes I’ve had. However the fish I thought was quite bland. I didn’t have a reservation (for 1), but they were able to seat me later in the evening after a 30 min wait.

Book early because it is always fully booked. Very good restaurant. Michelin star. Price is good for the quality of food. Food portion is small even for Asian so I would recommend to take the full course. Desert is very good. All food we order are good. Menu changes frequently. A must try in Nice!

Delicious and classic French food. Unfortunately my main course risotto was served a bit cooled, but it was still very good - so good actually that I did not return the dish. The wines were amazing and service very friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit!

However, while the food is exceptional, the service fell short on our visit. Despite the attentive staff throughout the meal, we found ourselves waiting far too long for the check at the end of the evening, which took away from an otherwise wonderful experience.

Overall, La Petite Maison is a must-visit for its cuisine, but a little more attention to the service, especially when it comes to closing the meal, would make it even better.

Great experience from the start. Our reservation was for the following day, but the hostess was kind enough to accommodate us with a table for 2. We ordered the endive salad and fried calamari for appetizers, and both dishes were highly flavorful. We then had the ribeye and the dorade with a side of gratin. The meat and fish were perfectly seasonned and cooked, and the gratin was surprisingly light. The DJ and musicians added a great touch to the overall atmosphere. However, the pricing was a bit on the expensive side but still recommended for the experience.

Average Food / TERRIBLE Service / High Price

Having visited many nice places in the South of France and dined at LPM in London multiple times, we decided to have dinner at LPM in Cannes. Knowing the London location for its pleasant atmosphere and good service, we were lured by expectations of a similar experience. We were mistaken.

The only positive aspects were the beautiful location and the elegant design of the place.

However, that’s where the positives ended.
First of all, the restaurant is in a building shared with a few other establishments, which made it feel like a more luxurious food court.

Our overall dining experience was soured right from the front desk. The brunette receptionist's attitude was unacceptable for a place like this, or for any job involving interaction with people.

Having a reservation, we felt like intruders causing a problem, rather than welcomed guests. It seemed as though escorting us to our seats was a great favor she begrudgingly performed. Contrary to our thought we were not the only people she escorted to the table with the same manner.

We ordered rosé but received red wine; however, the mistake was quickly corrected. When selecting our dishes, the waiters showed no interest and offered no recommendations, which should be standard in restaurants of this caliber. Fortunately, we knew the LPM London menu and decided on some classics such as pasta arrabiata, lamb, and peppers.

Despite dining at many top restaurants worldwide, we have never felt so rushed. The service was uncomfortably quick, and while we were still eating, the waiters repeatedly asked if we were done as if somebody was already waiting to be seated at our table. This sense of being hurried ruined the experience further.

To our surprise, no one offered us a dessert menu, which is customary in similar establishments.

We definitely don’t recommend LPM in Cannes.
If you, like us, are seeking a pleasant experience similar to LPM London, don't be fooled and better avoid this place.

Today I have visited La Petite Maison in Cannes and had a very disappointing experience. The manager was extremely rude and impolite, shouting at people loudly. I arrived half an hour before my reservation to avoid any crowds, but I was treated very poorly. Despite being a loyal customer who has visited various LPM locations around the world, this experience in Cannes was by far the worst. This issue needs to be addressed urgently, or it will be a disaster for the restaurant’s reputation.

Great little place to have dinner. Good food. Some of the waitresses had a bit of an attitude, with others being really great at their jobs. Recommend for dinner before a night out. Closes a bit early, you’ll feel rushed by 12.30. I like it better than the branch in Dubai.
