Food isn't bad. It gets a little loud inside because it's a small area. Seating is nice and comfy. Service is good too. Always greater with a smile and they were happy to take my order.

We visited Burmingham for the Transplant Games of America and found this place right next door to our hotel. The elevator with purple lights has a cool open top feel surprise! Really beautiful rooftop bar that was clean with great drinks. Our bartender David was wonderful. Truly a gem of a human. A cute and unique place. Thanks for having us!

I came here on a Saturday night after 11 pm and it was still pretty crowded. The indoor bar area is extremely too small and just isn't very accommodating. I appreciate the outside roof top space. The view is nice and a tad bit more spacious than the inside. My recent rooftop experience was brief , as it was cold and not any clear tent pods available for us. I do like the addition of the clear pods/tents bc in this new covid era, that separation is necessary. I really do look forward to warmer days in Birmingham , so I can come back here. I do not recommend coming on cooler days/ nights. Also, I recommend getting here early enough to score a space for you and your guests.

The roof is a rooftop bar at the top of The Redmont Hotel. We visited The roof at about 5 pm (still happy hour which is Monday-Friday, 4pm to 7pm) and the drink prices are actually reduced by $2 between these times. Not a huge discount in my opinion but good prices! There weren't a lot of people so we had an entire section outside to ourselves. The view from The roof is pretty nice if you have nothing to compare it to but I appreciated a downtown view of Birmingham none the less. The drinks were nice! I got The twisted Paloma! I like a sweet drink and this one is not very sweet but it has a fresh grapefruit taste that I couldn't stop drinking! After about 10 minutes I felt a nice buzz but was ready to go. My fiancé got the Gin Rudy Lemonade. I wish I had gotten that one because his was sweeter and he drank his in less than two minutes. You get about 10oz. The seating and decor is nice. There's also inside seating which is stylish. Will definitely be back! I would've stayed much longer if there were food options but there is a restaurant down stairs if you're really hungry! Also, the elevator is closed off from outside views if you have anxiety about heights like me! To get to The roof you use "Elevator 2 and select PH inside the elevator. Enjoy!

This is such a cool bar. We visited in November 2020 because we wanted to celebrate my birthday in an open air space that would be safe for social distancing. There isn't much soft seating on the rooftop so try to get there early but it also didn't take long for a space big enough for our group to open up. We went about 6pm before our dinner reservations elsewhere. The bar started to get a bit more crowded later in the day it got. This bar has a cool urban vibe. There are fake grassy walls that are fun backgrounds for photos and the views were amazing. Drinks were great! They had several speciality cocktails and were priced at what you would expect for any hotel bar. All around a great experience.

I've been to the Roof at the Redmont Hotel twice. I enjoyed both times. Most recently we stopped for drinks after dinner. When you get off the elevator there is a small bar and a small seating area. When you step outside there's the larger bar, multiple couches, and chairs. They have a DJ playing the latest Top 40. The view of the city is amazing. I was undecided on what drink I wanted. I explained to the bartender what I was looking for and what she created was spot on. A nice spot to stop for drinks with a date or a group of friends.

Beautiful skyline at sunset and great ambiance and drinks! Relaxing atmosphere! Bartender very friendly and willing to make a drink to your specifications!

Walked past all the restaurants downtown that were quiet and full of stiffs and wasn't sure what to think. Stepped in this hotel, went up the elevator and stepped into the best party atmosphere my friends and I found in the seaport area. Great view of downtown, drink prices reasonable for the venue!

Located on "the penthouse" level of the historic Redmont Hotel, "The Roof" is a nice, romantic place to enjoy the views of downtown Birmingham & to relax & enjoy after-dinner drinks. ;) Loved the downstairs entry, lobby, & staff of the Redmont Hotel leading up to The Roof - very classy.

We were staying at the Redmont and looking for a nightcap. The downstairs bar looked ok but we had heard about the Roof and wanted to check it out. Place is bigger than I thought, not a lot of seats but plenty of places to stand and look out over the city. Drinks were ok, not great but they served us quick despite having a decent sized crowd. Even though it was a blistering hot day, it was very pleasant at night and being 14 stories up gave us a very nice breeze.
