Truly exceptional.

Service is unbeatable.  The waiter station is centered in the middle of all the tables which I think is a great idea.  There wasn't a second they didn't have their finger on the pulse of our experience.  There was a table sat next to us when I feel like there was enough open spaces that they could've left a little bit more of a buffer space, but it was totally fine anyway, we were just slightly worried about distracting them from their meals.

The restaurant was very clean.  The bathrooms are very nice.  It was a bit of a walk to get to from the subway, so if you are coming with women who might be wearing heels I think I'd advise taking a car.

The food was definitely with the best I've ever had.  It started very well with a playful and delicious interpretation of banchan,  but we weren't extremely impressed with the signature octopus.  I mean that literally, it was excellent, but we weren't extremely impressed.  The standout dishes were definitely the sea urchin bibimbap, which I definitely recommend supplementing to and the yellowtail kimbap which I'll admit we always love yellowtail, but it was really next level.  Great presentation on everything.  Excellent dishes.  The deserts were great too.  Drinks and wine pairings were excellent.

It is priced around what you might expect for two Michelin stars, but I suspect that we actually enjoyed this dinner at a rate that is lower than it will be in the future.  Will not be surprised to see them get a third star in the future.

Made a very last minute bar reservation over the phone yesterday for my fiance's birthday dinner. I love how their bar menu is exactly the same as their dining table menu except it's a la carte (which is great for us bc I could never finish a whole set). We got one of everything on the menu and they were all amazing!! My personal favorite was the uni bibimbop and the bon chan, but honestly everything on the menu was so delicious I wish the portions were bigger bc I wanted more after I finished that octopus leg 😩

Overall they do live up to my expectations for a two Michelin star restaurant! Only thing I would complain about is that I noticed the dining tables were very close to each other and not very spacious. The bar area was great tho!

One of the best meals I’ve had in NYC, everything on the tasting menu was so delicate yet flavorful. Really enjoyed the striped jack, yellowtail kimbap, and the galbi. The bonchon to start was also amazing.

Totally awesome atmosphere, chill music and foods!!  Highly recommend this restaurant. I wanna go this place on Christmas. + servers were nice and gentle so I entirely enjoyed my dinner. Thank you :)

Amazing food presentation. I started with five different dishes. I loved every bite, but other dishes were just so-so for me. The dining room is clean and modern. However, I deducted 1 star because I finished my glass of wine, and no one asked me for another. They simply served the food and left. I had to find someone to order. and my 2nd glass too. So I decided to finish for a drink.  But overall was very good for my birthday dinner.

Min son och jag var tvungna att vara i New York för ett evenemang men eftersom jag också firade min födelsedag, bestämde vi oss för att boka reservationer på Jungsik eftersom det var 1 street Koreanska restaurang att tjäna 3 Michelin stjärnor. 

Jag har varit på Michelin Star restauranger förut men min erfarenhet på Jungsik var definitivt en för rekordböckerna. Vid inträdet möttes vi av professionalism och ett erbjudande om att befria oss från bagage som jag höll i handen. Vi eskorterades sedan till vårt bord. 

Atmosfären i denna restaurang var häpnadsväckande. Det var varmt och inbjudande men också elegant och sofistikerad. Jag kunde se och känna lyxupplevelsen. 

Varje server som närmade sig vårt bord gjorde det med största precision och noggrant placerade och förberedde våra rätter därefter. De tog sig även tid att förklara vad allt var och klargjorde hur man bäst skulle äta det. Jag hade specifika kostrestriktioner som jag informerade restaurangen om en vecka i förväg. De vidtog nödvändiga åtgärder för att se till att de skapade speciella rätter för mig på sin signaturmeny. Deras Service var på punkt! 

Jag var helt imponerad av varenda rätt som serverades. De gav först en speciell dryck som var uppfriskande, mycket smakrik, aptitförbättrande och en gomrengöring för början av vår upplevelse. Det fanns totalt 15 olika rätter. Vi började med Banchan, 6 smårätter, och avslutade med 9 rätter från deras signaturmeny. 

Jag njöt verkligen av varje enskild sak som serverades; men mina favoriter var Sojabönssoppa med Tryffelpärlor, Randig Jack, Bläckfisk, Arktisk Röding och Gulstjärt Kimbap. Alla rätter var förberedda och tillagade till perfektion. 

Presentationen och visningen av allt var top notch. Grädden på moset för mig var när de presenterade en av rätterna med Happy Birthday text på tallriken och ett ljus som grädde på moset. Enbart upplevelsen är värd ett andra besök, men kvaliteten, konsistensen, konsistensen, smaken och kvantiteten på rätterna som serveras tillsammans med serverns professionalism och kvällens elegans motiverar framtida besök. 

Mitt födelsedagsfirande på den här restaurangen kommer alltid att minnas. Tack till personal och kockar på Jungsik för ett exceptionellt besök!

Min dotter och jag åt middag på Jungsik under min första natt att besöka NYC. Vilken underbar upplevelse! De fem banchan presenterades konstnärligt, var och en på en piedestal för sig och med sin egen distinkta smak och textur. De var kreativa och läckra! Av de sex huvudrätterna var Randig Jack och Artic Char särskilt enastående. Sjöborren (ett tillägg) var också smakrik - portionen var MYCKET generös! Bra service och läckra rätter - kommer tillbaka igen nästa gång jag är i stan.

Trevligt inredda rum. Mycket vänlig personal; lite kaotiskt (vår amuse bouche var ganska sent, men sommelier erbjöd oss ett extra glas champagne) 
Maten var utmärkt: vacker presentation och full av smak! Vinparning är chockerande dyrt, så vi beställde två flaskor av en trevlig riesling.

Min fru och jag provade Signaturprovningsmenyn för några veckor sedan. En mycket trevlig presentation av varje rätt men den viktigaste höjdpunkten var smaken. Min fru hade sjögrässoppan i födelsedagspresent och jag är glad att det inte var min födelsedag eftersom den hade en dålig eftersmak. Tack och lov att det inte var min födelsedag. lol. Sammantaget tyckte jag att maten var bättre och mer kreativ än Le Bernadin, Eleven Madison Park och Per Se. Det enda jag inte gillade var att man måste förskottsbetala inklusive dricksen. Oavsett, jag rekommenderar starkt denna plats.

Mycket imponerande, mumsigt och roligt. Elegant plats och presentation, men inte grejer. Personalen var vänlig. Menyn var stor, massor av varierade ingredienserm, alla färska. men ville verkligen ha en grundläggande kimchi och en traditionell galbi (de har liknande och det var bra). Kreativ plätering. Klä business casual, men tror inte att du behöver en jacka. Boka bord.

Ärligt talat en av de värsta matupplevelser någonsin. Tre Michelinstjärnor? Verkligen? Servicen var avskyvärd. Det kom 59273 olika personer till mitt bord så ingen visste vem som var vem. Sommelieren kunde inte ens berätta vad han rekommenderar och fortsatte att driva mig på något jag inte ville ha eller be om. Till slut bara gav upp och sa att vatten är bra. Sedan kändes servrarna som en flygplats när de åkte fram och tillbaka mellan borden. Det var INTE avkopplande. När de kom med kurserna hann de inte ens lägga ner dem innan de förklarade vad rätten var, som om de hade bråttom. Tallrikarna var inte heller i samma position, (detaljer spelar roll, särskilt för en trestjärnig Michelin restaurang. Inte imponerande) . Dessutom var maten mer än medelmåttig. Jag och bordet mådde illa efteråt och vi blev inte ens klara med tallrikarna. Vi kunde inte vänta med att komma därifrån. Värsta gästfrihet jag någonsin sett. För $ 1, 200 + utan dricks, är detta definitivt ett kryss från listan.

Läcker mat presenteras vackert på eleganta tallrikar och modernt bestick. Tjänsten är oklanderlig. Vi hade en 8-rätters lunchsignaturprovningsmeny och varje objekt var imponerande och helt rätt. Observera att signaturmenyn är billigare än New York-restaurangen (från augusti 2019). Den enda frågan jag hade var badrummet som kändes konstigt på sin plats när det gäller placering (det är på ett separat golv), storlek (liten) och inte särskilt välskött. Men allt som allt är en fantastisk upplevelse, definitivt värt din tid och pengar.

Detta var vår första middagsupplevelse på en koreansk Michelin restaurang och vi blåses bort av disken, deras presentation, smak, texturer, smaker och rätt nivå av umami. Detta är en två Michelin-stjärna restaurang och absolut värt erfarenheten. Vi hade säsongens meny, och fann delarna bara rätt för oss att kunna njuta av varje maträtt. Ett bestämt måste för gourmands ??

Jungsik har en utmärkt varierad meny. Vår amuse bouche innehöll fem små bett som verkligen var riktigt läckra. Vi älskade särskilt kägla av havsborre och rökt lax roe och foie gras mousse var fantastisk. Bläckfisk skålen var absolut perfektion - överlägset mest anbud jag någonsin har haft. Tuna kim bap var också fantastiskt. 5 stjärnor

Fyra av oss hade en epiphany-liknande middagsupplevelse på Jungsik. Bland oss har vi haft middagar och en myriad av matupplevelser. Men till en person hade vi aldrig haft en bättre middag än detta. Från den eleganta enkelheten till inredningen, till den eleganta men helt diskreta, fullständigt opretentiösa servicen, till den otroliga uppmärksamheten på detaljer, till (slutligen) den helt enkelt fantastiska precisionen av symfoniska smaker presenterades, var denna händelse nästan bortom en verbal beskrivning. Vi skulle gå tillbaka imorgon.

Om det här är koreansk mat på sitt bästa, skriv sedan mig! Särskilt omnämnande till bläckfisken och uni - wow seriöst fantastiskt. Underbar avslappnad atmosfär men med spektakulär mat och en vinlista som är utanför diagrammen bra. bravo! Kan inte vänta med att komma tillbaka!
