Oh what a beautiful place..!! In terms of food and service. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. The servers are so well behaved and polite and the way they explain how each dish is prepared adds so much more to the whole experience. Cocktails were fabulous too. The bartender made it just so nice and chic. Loved every element. We didn’t taste the tasting menu but did alacarte order. Going back definitely to try tasting menu.

This is a new review based on a more recent visit.

Not so attentive staff, serving the table with dirty wine glasses. Not folding the napkins when you leave the table. Serving food from the wrong side and placing glasses from the wrong side.

Not worthy of a star in the guide.

We started off with a Non Dosé Champagne 🥂 from Philipponnat and some amuse-bouches. The pairing of the broth and philipponnat wasn't the best choose in my opinion.

Wine, Cocktail or Non alcoholic?

The concept of being able to choose what to drink for each dish is a fun twist and as far as I know not so common amongst Michelin Restaurants. Good fun though!

Regardless of your choice the drink/food experience was enjoyable and well worth the 3+ hours we got to spend with Celeste's lovely staff.

Bottom line, I don't think they really want that star. My choice managing that restaurant would be to stay at a Bib gourmand level and continue to have fun.

I have mixed feelings I almost would like to keep
This joint as a secret for myself. But that would not be fair to the staff or to other potential guests that want an excellent meal.

Great menu, perfect precision, lovely taste and boutique wine yard type of wines that are crazy good. And we shouldn’t forget the cocktail bar.

Been here twice and the reindeer was mind blowing.

Dropped in at Celeste for cocktails. It is a bit hard to find, but there was a nice gentleman outside that helped us find it. What I originally wanted (a cosmo) could not be made, so the bartender offered an appletini, saying he made the best in Stockholm. It was undoubtedly the best appletini and one of the best mixed drinks I've ever had. He even offered to remix it if I didn't like it, but it was delicious. My boyfriend also had a whiskey sour and said it was excellent. We also ordered the roasted almonds for a snack, and they were also excellent. Highly recommend stopping in for drinks. The staff and atmosphere are superb. Truly a hidden gem.

The clientele tends to be somewhat older compared to other bars in the area. The food offerings, though, could use some improvements in terms of balance, but the drinks are superb.

Ridiculously good, best food experience ever.
The service was beyond anything previously, and I've never experienced food and drink pairings remotely close to this before, mind blown.
For info, as we struggled finding it before our visit:
Wine pairings are available in 2 levels at roughly 2900 and 6500 Sek, there is also a mixed wine and non alcoholic pairing as well as a non alcoholic pairing. The non alcoholic pairings are also incredible.(we did the lower tier wine pairing and the mixed pairing)
Expect the visit to last at least 4 hours.

It doesn't really get much better than this. And the food isn't the only thing that will leave you breathless: it's a combination between utterly delicious dishes that are prepared right in front of your eyes, a level of service that the absolute pinnacle of what fine dining has to offer, a very clever concept taking seat in different (stunningly designed) spaces, and lastly, a great attention to many small details that just tie the experience together. It is a dining experience that is so insanely well orchestrated, it's almost like you are watching theater. Every single positive word and review is well deserved.

One of the worlds coolest food temples with outstanding creations and incredible twists. After trying to make a reservation for two months with no luck, I finally received a notification two days before the booking date, once I had arrived in Stockholm, that there was a cancellation and asked if I wanted to take the spot. Having given up hope, I was excited to get another chance. This three-Michelin-starred restaurant blends Nordic and Japanese culinary styles. However, their chawanmushi had cheese in it, which felt a bit unusual for someone used to more traditional Eastern flavours.

My favourite dish was the langoustine, which was steamed and served on a crispy layer, paired with sauce and eaten by hand—both fresh and delicious. Another standout was the aged turbot, served with fresh Japanese wasabi. The taste was incredibly unique, and I learned that the wasabi was grown in Iceland. Farmers had imported wasabi seeds from Japan and successfully cultivated them locally, eliminating the need for long-distance imports.

The chef’s menu also included caviar on French toast and foie gras with quail, both of which were quite salty—likely a reflection of the local taste. The dessert, served with a roasted pastry, was delightful. When the chef saw that we had finished it, they generously brought us another one, but we were simply too full to eat any more. There were plenty of post-meal sweets, and guests were free to relax in the lounge, sipping coffee and enjoying dessert for as long as they liked.

Overall, Frantzén left me with the impression of great generosity. For two people, paired with non-alcoholic drinks and a 15% service charge, the total bill came to SEK 14,000.

Loved it, we were 5 people and did wine tasting together with many many awesome dishes, each experience on its own.
Johan the manager was super professional and the same goes about entire team Frantzén.
