A fantastically easy accessible and convenient place for concert, but ridiculously stupid approach for music concert as not all can stay for hours watching music concert could be placed for sale and seated balcony places so who want to dance will purchase standing tickets but some ones may want seated tickets.

Standing area is great if it's not too full.  Front row upstairs has hardly any room for your legs, I'm 5ft 3" but could just get my legs between the wall and seats. The upstairs also bounces when the crowd starts dancing!  Good things are you can see the stage from everywhere and the sound is good so great for a slightly smaller show.

security allowed people to go out and buy things and could return to their original place only if someone could save their spot, but when it happened, I saw lots of people followed by security to the back of the line. Poor security, the artists had to tell security that someone had passed out. Glad w2e did so otherwise it could've been serious. They improved in the end by giving out water. I also noticed that the general entry with seats came in late because of security, they had missed 3 songs which was unfortunate. Luckily, my experience was good but a lot of people complained. This happened in April 2024, so hopefully it has improved.

This venue is without doubt my favourite venue to see a band play. It's absolutely beautiful, Art Deco design, it's like stepping back in time to the 1920s! I especially love the table booths upstairs. Such a lovely way to see a band and spend the evening.

Troxy is the best music venue in east London in my humble opinion. Every time I've been there, I've always enjoyed my time here.

Troxy is housed in a beautifully preserved Grade II-listed Art Deco building, originally built in the 1930s as a cinema. This gives it a unique character and atmosphere that sets it apart from modern venues.

Troxy is a large venue that can accommodate big-name artists and create a sense of occasion. However, it's not so large that it feels impersonal or overwhelming. Wherever I've been, I've always been able to see the stage.
The venue can be configured to suit different types of events, from intimate gigs to large-scale concerts and club nights, it's a one size fits all venue which is perfect 😊
Troxy hosts a wide range of musical genres, from indie rock and electronic music to jazz, soul, and world music. This caters to a diverse audience and contributes to the vibrant cultural scene in East London.
All of these things tell me that Troxy is the best music venue in east London. I've always had a good time whenever I'm there, I haven't seen any trouble which is nice and there are good transport links from Limehouse station, Whitechapel and mile end which isn't too far away 😊
