From the moment we arrived, our waitress made us feel seen and heard with attentive and warm service that set the tone for the evening. Her insight into the menu, cocktails and pairings was remarkable. The seasonal cocktail menu was a standout—each drink we tried was a perfectly crafted blend of fresh, unique, and local flavors.

The steak tartare was a true highlight—delicately seasoned, with a perfect texture that melted in our mouths. It paired beautifully with the cocktails, and together, they set the stage for a truly memorable meal. The Rustic Canyon was a great addition to our California trip. We can't wait to return!

Ok, the bread 🍞 here is stupid good. We dined at 530p and they only had 3 left. So, trust when I say if you wanna be in gluten heaven, go early. Service was excellent. Food was too. Everyone there cares about what they're doing and it shows.  Solid operation, everyone!  🎉

Pork Chops? Good Lord.

Down to the most basic desserts... A cantaloupe sorbet was very memorable.

Excellent dinner! The salads are delicious, lots of stuff, mix of texture and healthy nutrients for the most active lifestyle. As a vegan, the options are slim. The asparagus was tender and juicy. The Spring Salad was crunchy and refreshing. People loved the trout, the polenta was loose and devoured. I had the strawberry sherbet for dessert, sweet and full!

If you are in Santa Monica you have to try this place. Amazing experience all the way around. The chef is phenomenal. The food was perfectly balanced, extremely fresh, and a the perfect portion - no left overs. The presentation was beautiful! The employees were even better. They were on top of drinks and keeping things tidy - even came with honest conversations and a great vibe. A little upscale but we were not judged rolling in with street clothes. Very comfortable. We went came on a Monday night and liked it so much we came back on Thursday! Definitely a top 3 restaurant if not the best.

honestly, for fancy food, it was pretty mediocre. it feels like in the category of fancy restaurants, it’s on the lower end. there is so much hype around this place, but it didn’t live up. you get the most silly things — like just straight up leaves. but the service is good. the people are nice. the food isn’t bad, but i was expecting better from rustic canyon honestly.
