Was super excited for this experience…… the food let us down. It just was poor. They were trying so hard to create something that was different and respective to the earth and eye opening. Instead we had 14 of 16 plates that were just downright weird and lacked true flavor. Sure the origin of each plate was unique and captivating but the taste was poor. Wine selection as well was different and interesting but lacked true quality that you would expect at this level. We really did our best to stay at the table and try each dish. We wanted to love this meal but the food was far from special. We will say that the service was compassionate, detailed, and of high quality. We won’t say don’t go, but don’t go with expectations of an incredible meal. Go with expectations that the kitchen will try but they will fall short.

Where to even begin with this review.
From the start we were greeted by name at the entrance and escorted to our table. Service was impeccable throughout and anticipated every need.
As for the food, the dishes outdid each other and each was unique. These dishes provided unusual flavours, presentations or ways of eating and left me impressed. From being served in a bowl of ice, to being sipped from a planted tomato plant, to lobster being cut out of seaweed.
We got to enjoy both the wine and juice pairings and both complimented the dishes well, although I preferred the wine pairing and strongly suggest it if you drink alcohol.

This dining experience was certainly captivating, with each dish showcasing an extraordinary level of visual creativity that I've never encountered before. However, a great meal must satisfy both the eyes and the palate. Unfortunately, while the presentation was impressive, the flavors fell short.

The wine pairings were a bit scarce, making it hard to fully relax and enjoy the experience. I found myself worrying about running out of wine before the next course arrived, which took away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, the wine list was very limited, and there were no cocktails available.

Good food and excellent presentation. They explained the origins of the ingredients and the creation of each dish very well.

The wine pairing was very well curated.  Can't say the same for the juice pairing, my husband did not enjoy his as much.

Points off for the atmosphere. The view that we had was that of people sweating and doing their reps - yes, we were facing an open-air gym.

The meal was exceptional however with much consideration I can’t help but be disappointed in the wine service. Six two ounce pairings for the amount of courses was insufficient. Many of the courses we were expected to save the pairings for three courses. I never felt like I fully enjoyed the wine pairings because I was too worried about saving a little for the next course. This was a problem right from the start as the welcome sparkling was meant to carry the guest through three courses. Furthermore, not a single attempt was made to refill glasses during any of the courses. A restaurant of this caliber should budget this kind of service. Many restaurants actually bring out additional wines as part of service. If Boragó can’t budget these kinds of acts of service into their overall service, I would recommend they choose less expensive wines for pairings or offering the guest a chance to buy bottles during service. Which leads to my next point, the price of the wine pairings is equal to buying 2 bottles from their list, which I only found out at the end during dessert service. I find it in poor form not to offer a late harvest or fortified wine as part of wine pairings at a restaurant of this caliber. For such precision in the meal preparation I found it surprising how uninspiring the wine service was to be. The takeaway menu was nice but again as someone who dines at many high caliber restaurants I found the parting lack luster and almost offensive after spending 1,400 usd. Anyone use to fine dining will be disappointed as several guest wore jeans and they even put a stool out for one table to place their backpack.
