We came for the regular tasting menu. Some dishes were amazing like the squash dumplings and eggplant. But some were so so salty, specifically all the Thai themed ones. Otherwise the flavours were strong and the presentation and ingredients quite innovative.

Definitely a fairly homey vibe rather than fine dining, and decor was pretty nice. We enjoyed it for a Friday date night.

I would go again but go for a la carte instead of the tasting menu

Amazing tasting menu! The restaurant does a great job at creating a welcoming upscale dining experience

The tasting menu included a wide variety of creative dishes that were presented nicely. The staff took their time to explain each dish and were attentive in making sure to check in throughout the meal.

The portion sizes were reasonable with enough food to feel full and take some food as leftovers. I look forward to coming back in the future for special occasions.

We went last night and got the tasting menu along with a generous assortment of cocktails.

First, the service is probably the best we've ever had in Toronto (and definitely since COVID). We had someone checking in on us, filling our water, taking cocktail orders, and just being attentive literally every minute. And everyone was super friendly. Can't say enough good things about the service.

Second, the food. Wow. We were definitely blown away. Like I said, we got the tasting menu. Every course was actually like 2 or 3 dishes, and every one was incredible. There was *so* much food. We barely could finish everything. It was all unique and super tasty and well presented. 6 out of 5 stars for the food.

And last was the cocktails. Other than one cocktail which I would consider a "miss" which was the wasabi martini, I'd say these were some of the best cocktails I've had in Toronto. Specifically, their clarified caesar was straight up one of the best cocktails I've ever had in my life. I must have it again. I must try to recreate it. I can't convey how good it was. Truly remarkable.

Overall, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Final bill was $400ish plus tip, and we feel like it was worth every penny.

A wonderful upscale dining experience with unique dishes and friendly staff. Closer to a 4.5/5.

I came here with my girlfriend on the weekend of Valentine's at 5:30 pm. It became extremely busy after 6, so reservations are highly recommended. We got the DaiLo tasting menu, which was $109 per person and came with a 12-13 course meal.

We were blown away by the creativity of the dishes. They were mainly all Asian fusion dishes, but they all gave a familiar taste of home. Most of the time, I didn't even know what I was putting in my mouth, pause, but it was delicious nonetheless. The big superstars to me were the duck and pork hock. Probably some of the best things I've ever put into my mouth, pause.

Now, hear me out. I am not the biggest fan of fine dining because  99% of the time, the price tag does not justify the amount of food. But in DaiLo's case, the food, service, and dining experience  altogether might make it slightly worth it.

If there is ever a big or fancy occasion, I'd highly recommend giving DaiLo a try.

DaiLo was everything we hoped it would be. Amazing food with unique combinations of flavour and textures. Service is amazing, attentive but relaxed. They do an incredible job of capturing your interests and suggesting dishes for you. Do some research on dishes you’d like to try beforehand as they can accommodate even if it’s off the menu. Fav dish: Pumpkin dumplings. Definitely looking forward to being back!
