What a wonderful and special restaurant. The atmosphere was loud and fun, you truly felt like you were at an Italian family home on a Sunday.
The food was so good! Huge serving! Drinks were so good!
This place ran so smoothly.
Staff was attentive, kind and so helpful.
Will definitely come back next time we visit NYC

We had a really good dinner at Carmine's. Our waitress Ashley was amazing. She was friendly and attentive and very helpful with everything. We got the baked clams for our appetizer, and they were cooked to perfection. For our main, we shared the mixed seafood plate with angel hair pasta in the red sauce it was cooked wonderfully. We also had the chocolate cannoli with pistachios. I would definitely come back on our next trip to New York.

We had a wonderful time at Carmine's! The food was delicious and the portions were very large. We ordered 2 dishes and had plenty of leftovers. Even though a lot of tourist go here this is not a tourist trap as the food was excellent and the servers were friendly and attentive. Worth a trip to if you are in New York and looking for great Italian food, great service and amazing atmosphere.

Carmine's for the win! The food is great! I love family style dining. The portions were HUGE and we tried our best to finish (unsuccessfully lol). The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere was very upbeat for a Thursday evening. Don't skip the cocktails. They are amazing! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience. Food was delicious and massive portions. Each dish could feed a family of 5 it felt like. The vibe was awesome, really good jazz and old Christmas music and a really enjoyable atmosphere. A must visit in NYC.

Den här restaurangen förstörde mina sista 2 dagar i New York och gav mig värsta magont. 
Maten var bara varm när den serverades, borde ha skickat tillbaka den. 
Platsen var för upptagen, kan du knappt höra dig själv tänka.

Härligt koncept där man delar en stor tallrik med pasta . Vi var 4 pers och åt inte upp, så köp inte för mycket mat…. I efterrätt får man typ en hel tårta att dela på. Härligt trevligt ställe och bra personal. Man måste boka bord! Barnvänligt men även bra för familjer med tonåringar. 

Minus för allt matsvinn, såg få som åt upp.

Vi kände oss mycket besvikna med vårt första besök på Carmine. Vi fick höra att det var en ”familjestil” restaurang men ingen av våra fyra kände att detta förklarades tydligare för oss. Vi beställde var och en olika måltider av egen individuell val, som man kan förvänta sig i en restaurang! Vid inget tillfälle förklarade servitören för oss att detta var ovanligt, och att varje måltid sannolikt skulle tjäna 4 personer i sig... . . och detta skulle ha krävt alla 4 av oss att komma överens om vilken en måltid att beställa! 

När måltiderna anlände, de var MASSIVE! Servitören verkade tycka att det var ganska roligt att vi hade beställt så mycket mat, men vi blev lite förskräckta, och mycket förvånade över att han inte bekräftade, eller åtminstone dubbelkollade med oss, att vi ville beställa så mycket. 

Den enda lösningen som erbjöds oss var att skicka tillbaka måltider direkt för en återbetalning, men det skulle ha krävt en bråkdel av ett andra beslut för en (eller flera) av oss att skicka tillbaka sin valda maträtt och dela med någon annan! 

Vi känner att vi var mycket dåligt informerade, vårt klagomål togs inte på allvar av ledningen, och absolut inget erbjudande gjordes som ersättning eller rabatt / goodwill gest. 

Inget kommer att locka oss tillbaka! Jag skulle bara säga, se till att du vet vad du anmäler dig till när du bokar Carmine’s. Det är inte din vanliga restaurang och även om du förklarar att du inte har varit där tidigare, kanske de inte förklarar tydligt hur saker fungerar. Om du inte har en massiv aptit, var beredd att välja samma som alla dina medgäster, eftersom endast en supersized portion är tillgänglig, är individuella måltider inte tillgängliga.

Bra mat! Vi fick änglahårspastan med krabbsås, den var såå god! Vi visste inte att det var familjestil och hade massor att packa upp att gå.

Vi var i NYC för att fira en väns 70-årsdag! Vi satt i baren på övervåningen & njöt av atmosfären, barpersonalen och såklart maten. Jag köpte bolognese och kalvsaltimbak. De tog fram en glassdessert & sjöng grattis på födelsedagen, vilket gjorde det så firande! Det är klassiskt NYC och du måste gå. Gör en reservation, som vi gjorde.

Carmine's är full av karaktär, det märks att den har funnits länge. . . maten är god (inte enastående) men portionerna är ENORMA. Dela måltiden! Den gröna salladen, till exempel, räcker för 4 personer. . .

En NYC dela restaurang så som ett par vi var begränsade i våra val. Vi valde sidan av aubergine parm som var enorm, en köttbulle, och musslor i vitvinssås. Brödet var fantastiskt. Cocktails var perfekt. Återkommer med fler människor.

Bisarra upplevelser, att ständigt få höra vad man kan göra och inte kan. Gick med min fru för vår bröllopsdag, beställde något som vi båda vagt gillade i motsats till vad vi verkligen ville som du måste dela. Pasta med räkor var okej, bröd var bra. Jag åt fortfarande när en server kom fram till bordet och frågade om jag ville packa upp pastan för att gå. Kunde knappt vänta med att bli av med oss, hon såg ut att må dåligt när jag beställde en espresso! 🤣 Vi var i max 45 minuter och $ 200 lättare. Jag skulle väja för det här stället.

Maten smakar fantastiskt. Portionerna är absolut massiva. Jag tror det är bäst att gå till karminer om ni är några stycken. Jag var här med bara min mamma och portionerna överträffar dig så fort du ser dem. Härlig mat och en mycket mycket upptagen plats.

Jag bokade denna plats för en av våra nätter i New York - det är vår andra gången vi besöker den stora staden och den här gången var det för vår smekmånad! Förra gången vi besökte gjorde vi rookie misstaget att inte förboka någonstans, så den här gången såg vi till att göra en insats för att göra några bokningar och Carmines var en av dem. Det var mycket att göra, men ändå organiserat, vi checkades in och togs snabbt till vårt bord. Jag och min man började beställa de 10 saker vi ville ha och fick snabbt rådet av servitrisen att vi skulle dela en portion - bra tack gode gud att hon gjorde, portionerna är tillräckligt för att föda en familj på 6 ! Vi beställde 2 förrätter och en huvudrätt och hade tillräckligt kvar för att föda en familj på 4 ! Lasagnen var ute i världen, jag googlade hur jag kunde få tillbaka den här till Storbritannien - så bra var det att jag ville flyga ut till NY bara för att ha den igen! Om du inte har varit innan, definitivt lägga till det till din lista över platser att prova, som en britt storleken på portionerna var nästan komisk, men det bidrog till vår njutning - vi kommer definitivt att boka igen.

God mat, stora portioner (dela! ! ! ) bra atmosfär. Valuta för pengarna. Även om det var bokat fast på nätet dök vi upp och de har en walk in väntelista eller så kan du sitta och äta i baren.
