Went to this much famed chicken shop in Copenhagen. The food itself is pretty good. The chicken was spicy, not too dry and pretty flavourful. With that said it is not too dissimilar to other premium chicken sandwich shops you’ll see in other cities. The sandwich itself is very filling and tasty. Expect to pay a bit though and to wait 30-40 min for your food over a busy lunch time.

I would like to start by saying this is a solid chicken sandwich. If there wasn’t this much hype around it I would be quite satisfied with my experience. Service is great, definitely very fast and you can tell the workers are working their backs off trying to get to everyone which is something to appreciate. The space was a bit uncomfortable in general. I don’t blame them for it as it definitely goes with their concept, however it would be so much better to have a bit more seating available so that people don’t have to awkwardly squeeze next to each other. Since this is the case though, I recommend you to take your meal and move somewhere more quiet and comfortable because this sandwich will get quite messy. Do make sure to have napkins because the burger is very saucy and the chicken is quite juicy. So on to the actual burger. Lots of pickles, perfect amount of sauce, very well distributed. I loved the spice level but my main complaint is that the spice really overpowers all the other flavors going on (if there are any, sorry). I would have really liked to have a bit more complexity in such perfectly cooked chicken. It is definitely not bland, but it could come off as that if the spice wasn’t there to “make up for it”. Another thing was that my sandwich was very weirdly salted. Could just be a one time thing but I couldn’t taste salt for the most part and got an overwhelmingly salty bite all of a sudden. I think if the seasoning was executed a bit better this could be one of my favorite chicken sandwiches. I loved the bun, I loved their pairings, and I loved how the chicken was cooked. With this much hype around it, I would have preferred it to have a more complex flavor. Burger itself is about 95 dkk around the time I write this review, which seems to be reasonable for Copenhagen food spots.

It’s scarce with the seating, I wish they at least had a couple tables outside considering the place is very popular. It was the better version of KFC even though there was bit too much mayo to my daughter’s taste. The service was good even though being needed to wait a little while before getting the chicken sandwiches. There is no seating inside but only one bench and few chairs. So don’t expect kind of restaurant seating.

If you want good cheap pasta, Fabro is definitely the place for you. The service was amazing and quick, the food and drinks were delicious. I would recommend going there before they open, that is what I did and once I left there was a long line waiting. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The meal was very filling and did not disappoint. I showed up right when the opened and got seated immediately. The focaccia was incredible and so was the pasta. 10/10 experience. I think this meal was a great value compared to other places in Copenhagen
