Beau Marche is on the face of it a lovely little place in a great location. A French style cafe/ brasserie with a nice atmosphere. You are given your menu but you have to order at the counter by the door. It should be great but it isn’t. Let’s get down to business here, this place is a complete rip off. Our bill came to more than 1000kr for a light lunch for three! One tuna salad sandwich, one tomato and Burrata salad, one tiny tin of anchovies with sourdough toast ( no garnishes) , some soft drinks and a couple of coffees. I repeat, well over £100 for a light lunch for three. You’ve got to be joking. The anchovies were served still in their tin! Unbelievable. They were so salty as to be almost inedible.
I love Copenhagen, but the food has been a disappointment all round, literally everywhere is serving tiny portions at extortionate prices. There is no honesty left in the restaurant trade.

Sweet little French cafe/ wine bar in the middle of Copenhagen. The atmosphere is lovely, very very Parisian. I had an americano and it was superb! Wish I could come for a longer time..

Very cosy cafe in a backyard. Just had a cappuccino, which was very good, but they have some small dishes and the ones that passed me looked good. Was there on a Saturday around lunch. The staff got a bit overwhelmed by the number of orders and customers, even if there were lots of vacant tables. It was all a bit chaotic and the service came across as quite stressed. Took much too long to get a coffee served on this occasion. Even so a nice visit.

Great food with a variety of options to  choose from. Quick and friendly service. It was great to be able to order brunch after 2PM. We had the 5 dish brunch and our favorites were the caesar salad, croque monsieur, mushroom soup, and waffle. Least favorites were the pan au chocolat and apple crumble.

There was only 1 waitress when i arrived she worked hard to make the guest happy. I paitenly waited to get seated and that happen very quickly and when i handed out the paper with the dishes. They came very quickly in arround 15 minutes. The food was super good very delicious pastry and the fluffy eggs where realy good and waffel was super tasty. Thank you for the amezing expierence. This place is a two minute walk from our AirBnB apartment so we popped down for breakfast. What a find. It’s essentially a breakfast tasting menu where you choose either 5 or 7 items from a selection of pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravlax, muesli, smoothies- the list is huge. Very high quality grub, couldn’t fault any of it. See the photos. The coffee and other drinks were also excellent.
