Incredible food spot, where locals go for dinner with friends. Food is simply delicious & really vibrant in flavors & colors. We like hidden gems and this is definitely one of them. Worth the taxi ride from more touristy places. Loved it!!!

Had a fantastic meal here 2 weeks ago. Still thinking of some of the food and wine we had. Fantastic service, amazing food, great vibe. I asked for a wine recommendation based what we were having (and some styles I like) and they absolutely nailed it. Definitely come here if you're looking for a great meal but are worried you might be falling for some of the more touristy spots closer to the downtown. Well worth the short cab ride here. Really really good food. Traditional rich roman dishes done in an almost elevated and lighter way. Small menu (lots of specials!) well priced. This is definitely a place to come and eat meat - you cannot be a vegetarian here. The waiters were also all lovely. DEFO book in advance! I wouldn’t recommend this place for celiacs - all though they do gluten free options (including pasta) the kitchen is not good to avoid contamination which they do warn you at the beginning of the meal! Would recommend to everyone visiting rome.

It's nice that they are open on Sunday evenings and we got a surprise treat of seating close to the kitchen to see how the food came together. We chose the omakase style menu that varies by the chef's choices. We also got to try the Sunday special Katsu Sando!
The cocktails and sake menu are also excellent. Miyakodoro has great atmosphere and food was delicious.

The food and service is quite nice. Although the restaurant was not entirely full when I went on a weekday evening, the noise level is high. My favorite dishes were the oyster and scallop. Overall, the food was on the saltier side, lending itself to having more to drink. I recommend this place.

Great food and friendly service. Interesting menu. Desserts are a a piece of art. Atmosphere is quite pleasant. Two negative comments:
1- we tried two different fried dishes. While the dish is super tasty, the batter is too thick and tough it is sometimes hard to identify the type of meat under the batter. The dish still wins but the batter definitely takes away from it.
2- we were reminded too many times that our reservation duration is two hours only. While we appreciate it is a busy spot and they want to be consistent for all clients, at some point it just becomes plainly rude or unwelcoming. The information is clearly stated during reservation, then mentioned again in the confirmation, then again at reconfirmation one day in advance, then again at the door upon arrival and once more already after we paid our bill. This just seems excessive and unnecessary and this policy leaves staff and clients in awkward positions.
