We happened to stumble upon Luuma on a quick visit to the beach, the day after we arrived to our villa. We decided to look up the menu online when we got home and booked a table for the next day. Although on first glance it may seem expensive,
It is worth every penny (or cent)! The atmosphere was lovely, with a nice relaxed feel. All of the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us. The food was incredible. Easily the best steak I have ever had. Despite asking for it to be cooked well done, it was still lovely and tender and fell apart. The chicken wings were also equally full of flavour. The views are also huge selling point, and we were able to watch the sunset from the beach. I am sure we will be back before we leave!

Perfect perfect perfect! Beautiful restaurant with incredible views. The staff are super friendly and went above and beyond for us. It may seem expensive but it’s not for what you get. The food is out of this world and we will definitely return before going home.

Lovely little tapas restaurant in Old Town. Such a cozy feel inside with delicious bites and exquisite drinks. A few of our favorites were the cheese fondue, croquetas, and chicken wings - but everything was great!

Arco was a dream! I hovered outside like a weirdo from 18:45 to ensure we got a seat and I'm so glad I did because it was full in absolutely no time at all! To start us off, my partner and I each had the fanciest glass of sangria we have had on the whole holiday. The pork ribs came out first and were so tender, I went to cut the portion in half to share between my partner and I and it completely fell apart on the plate. It tasted delicious! Next was the deep fried Camembert with strawberry marmalade which was piping hot when it came out and very moreish and the portion was bigger than I expected which is always a winner. This was followed by the best Tempura Prawns I have ever eaten. As you can see in the picture, I went straight into dipping it in the wasabi mayo (which, by the way, was INSANE) as I was so keen to try them. They EXPLODE in your mouth. You HAVE to order them. Next up was the Tuna Tataki which is what I was definitely most excited about to try and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Just perfect. Finally the spicy fish tacos! They were delicious and very fresh. At this point I was so full I could hardly move... but I had seen the reviews about the tiramisu in a plant pot and I had to get it. It was very light and very very tasty. It was also a lovely sized portion! Bigger than I was expecting. My partner had the chocolate brownie which was lovely and rich. The whole dinner cost us €78 which was a very reasonable price, given the quality of the food, service and atmosphere.
The only teeny-tiny negative would be that the tables are quite small and they spin. Which might be ok when sat inside as you can access all of your tapas dishes; however, when sat out on the cobbly street, it made for an interesting balancing act! Thank you Arco team! We will see you next time☀️

There's a few reviews on here about this place regarding the standard of the food and the portion sizes.

First off, the food was great.  Seemed freshly prepared and cooked etc. to me!

The portion sizes were also just right for tapas.

Anyone thinking they are small are probably comparing them to "English" tapas portions in restaurants run by Brits, for Brits.

Pricewise they were about right as well.  The  euro price makes it appear expensive to Brits who can't do a quick mental adjustment to pounds.

Tapas was really good! We had mozzarella, iberian tonnato, aubergine dish, risotto and irish beef. Orange juice was also so good! All were super good! Service was also top notch.

Hands down, the best meals I've ever had in my entire life.

We were drawn to this restaurant because of the bustling and warm atmosphere.
The restaurant has a wonderful vibe and highly professional and knowledgeable staff who add to the friendly atmosphere.

The hostess is supreme and runs a wonderful and efficient show. Pure class.

I watched excited barmen delight in creating 3 intriguing cocktails and embellish them with fresh rose petals.

As they arrived at the table, three young men came to life as they welcomed the event and promptly took their phones out to capture this moment.

Whilst looking around this wholesome establishment, I caught sight of the hardworking kitchen and the chef even took a moment to give me a friendly wave.

Table after table of people left and bid the hostess or their waiters adieu until their next booking in a few days time. I suspect this is the reason that the place is full.

The wine was fabulous.

I haven't even gotten to the food yet.

I've never had such a reaction to food. Every mouthful, I wanted to savour. The tastes were expanding every time. I cannot explain clearly enough how great this good was.

We chose the shrimp risotto and beef pappardelle pasta(I will research the proper names when I return to the restaurant later and i will update this review accordingly)

The Banoffi Cheesecake, of which I have had many in my time, excelled all expectations. The layers, textures and flavours were awesome.
The quality of the Tiramisu was incredible and you could tell the finest ingredients and craftsmanship were the cause.

We had the most wonderful, knowledgeable waitress who explained the specials in great detail to us in english.

I think I'm still speechless, definitely at a loss, to describe how phenomenal the main courses were.

Just go, go, go to Mia's Pizzorante Gourmet- and book it in advance. ❤️🧡💛🧡❤️

Thoroughly enjoyable late lunch in Mia’s. Starters:  crab gratin (special) hubby had mussels. Both excellent. Lovely home made bread rolls. Lamb for me and pizza for hubby. Both excellent. We splashed out with 2 desserts. I had pistachio soufflé (special) with choc ice cream and hubby had profiteroles. Cleaned our plates! 2 coffees, bottle of excellent Nero d’avolo and 1 glass of white. €123. Well worth it. Couldn’t fault anything. Superb food. Thank you chef and staff.

We visited this restaurant several times, the food is very good but unfortunately the whole experience is spoiled by the staff. The restaurant is acting very fancy and high end but the service you get is incomparable with an actual fancy restaurant. You come without reservation and they are taking like 5 minutes deciding if they will take you or not, you are waiting too long just to receive a menu not mentioning actually ordering because you can not order food and drinks by one waiter and you keep hearing “my colleague will take your order”. Then very judgemental lady comes to take your order without a pen and paper like for everyone else “are you ready to order?🙄” we say we’ll take 2 times tagliatelle bolognese, she comes closer as she did not hear well, we repeat and then she “corrects” us with an italian accent on how to say the words “tagliatelle bolognese” making you feel dumb. We did not receive pastries as everyone else did, just the olives. As i mentioned food was very good, then we asked for a bill, she came throwing us a box with the bill on the table without a word and turning around immidiately as we were telling her we want to pay by card, then we waited for like 5 minutes until she came with the terminal, we paid and left.. it was a very uncomfortable experience as we did feel unwanted.

Oh Wow This place is a gem! Service is top notch and the food soooo amazing. Everything we ordered and not ordered was absolutely delicious. Yes that includes the fresh baked bread and the green olives they put on the table.. We devoured everything but I did save a bit of room for Tiramisu, which was also wonderful, light and perfectly sweetened for this asian palate.

We didnt make reservations and did a walk in at 8pm but lucky for us there was a 6 top avail and they were nice enough to accomodate. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would highly recommend anyone to try Mia's. Make sure to reserve ahead!!!

Visited here for a work event. Service was attentive and professional. Food was tasty and also plentiful. Starters were exceptionally good.  Despite being a 'large' group, there were no errors or delays with the variety of drinks, starters, mains and desserts being brought to the table. Definitely a place to visit

Recommended by our hotel (Elite) and it was incredible! The two of us split the carrot tartare, the scallops, beef tartare, the dumplings, and the crispy pork. Each was a creative, balanced, bold dish shocking us each time! We were able to walk into the bar on a Tuesday night. They had suggested 3-4 plates per person but we found the 5 plates were perfect for the two of us together.
