We had an absolutely fantastic meal at the counter at Lilla Ego. We were lucky to get a reservation the night of - every dish was a hit, with complex and harmonious flavours taking cues from Nordic and Japanese cuisine, and perfect execution. Very reasonably priced for the quality - get in while you can before they get a Michelin star.

Unequivocally one of the best meals we’ve had— every dish was a party in our mouths. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was vibrant yet intimate. We ordered the marinated tuna, the pork rillette, the blackened sirloin & the pork belly— all were 10/10 but we thought the tuna stole the show. The little sourdough roll with butter, sunflower seeds and parmesan they bring you at the start was so tasty, as well. We had the goat cheese creme brulee for desert and it was fantastic. Furthermore, it was reasonably priced. They had a top tier wine list, as well. It can be tough to get a reservation and it’s abundantly clear why. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Took a walk through Stockholm on a summer evening to get there, bring an umbrella as rain is always on the cards 😂.

The food is awesome and the service is good too but the environment is a bit too crowded. Table spacing is too tight it might make you feel a bit stressed and quite noisy in the restaurant. Other than that everything is good. It’s a small restaurant with really good food. The toilet is not clean I was a bit afraid to go in to be honest but I don’t have any other choice🥲
