We had dinner on NYE here and it was an absolute pleasure. Christina took great care of us and was friendly, professional and attentive. She showed us all the meat options and gave us great recommendations. The food was perfect, the steak was perfectly cooked and the wine delicious. You also have to try the chocolate cake! Went with my friend pre-theatre to celebrate her birthday and loved the food, though initially it took awhile for us to be seated and tended to despite us having a reservation and mentioning that we were in a rush due to having a performance after. However, Christina came and saved the day, providing a quick and efficient service. We managed to leave in time and we even received a complimentary cheesecake!

Friendly staff, they made a table available for us even though the top table app did not work due to reception in Covent Garden. So that was nice of them.
The food wasn’t great as we got the wrong burger, we ordered the truffle burger but were served with the normal burger. The manager did correct this for us but I was no longer hungry after having to wait.

Her professionalism and dedication to resolving my problem were truly impressive. Thanks to her, the situation was handled quickly and effectively.

Gaucho Covent Garden proved to be an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. What immediately stood out was the incredible friendliness of the staff. Our waiter, Jusan, was particularly attentive, consistently checking in to ensure we were happy with our food and overall experience. This level of care and attention made us feel genuinely valued as customers and significantly enhanced our enjoyment.
The restaurant itself is visually stunning. The ambiance is sophisticated and refined, with a noticeable emphasis on impeccable cleanliness. It's clear that great care is taken to maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the space.
For the main course, I opted for the steak, which was served with crispy chips and a flavorful chimichurri sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection and the combination of flavors was spot on. It was a truly satisfying and delicious dish.
To round off the meal, I indulged in the Argentine Trifle. Gaucho is ok. The food & wine were good although overpriced.
Steaks were lovely (ribeye and rump), the burger was ok but it was only a burger.
We ordered Mac and cheese, which came out cold in the middle a shame to see a microwave is being used in a place like this!Will give due credit where due, staff quickly sorted out the cold mac n cheese.
One recommendation for a nicer meal would be to have warm/hot plates for the food.
Nice touch to get a birthday cheese cake at the end.
Will not be rushing back to Gaucho.
