Easily our best meal on the island so far. Amazing food, mix of seafood and meat dishes and beautiful location right on the sea front (we got there just in time to watch the sunset). Friendly and attentive staff too, thoroughly recommend.

Dined here multiple times. Always came back for the great service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is beautiful and especially good at sunset and twilight. All of the food is tasty and the drinks are fresh. The customer service is the main draw though, all of the  staff are friendly, approachable and elecate an already great experienxe with the view! We were here at the end of season so the menu was a bit limited but still had multiple great visits. Would definitely recommend the cocktails and dining here in general!

Lovely atmosphere,  amazing view  , the food was delicious . In the end, they brought us complimentary  fruits and raki . The cocktails were amazing .I would like the waiters to pay a little but more attention to the table . But overall, I recommend  .  I suggest sharing a lot of starters to share rather than to have main courses .

Amazing restaurant by the beach.
The food is amazing and so is the view over the water. It’s very cozy in the evening.

We had one of our  evening meal at Mitsos, and was one of our best meals while on holiday in the beautiful Crete. Beautiful setting right on the beach.  Do get there for sunset, its spectacular. You will not be disapointed!

Slow food restaurant indeed with a great staff. Be patient as they might be a little overwhelmed in the summer time. Go early. This is not a Michelin star restaurant it’s a true to self Cretan traditional Gastronomy hub and they will take care of you in the best way possible. The orange pork and meat pie are insanely good. Beautiful restaurant in the middle of nowhere - very authentic and with a beautiful scenery. The cuisine is delicious, all main dishes are cooked exclusively on wood. They also have a home made white wine, that was very good. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area, it’s worth a visit! You will love it.

As soon as you arrive in front of the restaurant you smell the food cooked over a wood fire, all the staff were really great, everyone is very helpful and warm (like everywhere in Crete), we had an unforgettable culinary experience, we had pork with an orange sauce which was really out of the ordinary.
