I recently dined at Coco Restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected for a fine dining establishment.

Upon arrival at 7:00 PM, the restaurant wasn’t particularly crowded, yet we were given a table right next to the service stairs. It was incredibly disruptive, as waiters passed by us every few minutes with plates. I requested to change the table twice, but my requests were denied—even though I wasn’t asking for a prime spot on the first floor, just a more comfortable table away from the commotion.

The service was another major disappointment. We waited an unusually long time to be attended to, and when our dessert finally arrived, the table wasn’t even cleaned properly beforehand. This is not acceptable for a restaurant that positions itself as upscale.

As for the food, it was below average. The burrata was unimpressive, and the truffle pasta was a mediocre 6/10 at best.

On a positive note, the ambiance and decor were lovely, with a great vibe overall. However, Coco Restaurant seriously needs to improve both its service and food quality to match its atmosphere and reputation.

I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience.

Food is great! Ambiance is also great! Service is great until the bill arrives; they tend to make you pay more than the bill amount (just be aware). Other than that, a really nice place very welcoming, the hospitality is really good and the location is perfect for a shopping day! I recommend the place and I recommend to double check the bill (:

The pancakes were amazing! So good!
The other food was very good too, but I definitely recommend the pancakes 🥞😄 The lobster roll was a lot of roll and very little lobster, but still good. (Although for that price we did expect more lobster).
The service was very nice as well, our waiter was very friendly and gave good advice. And because of the live music (which we could hear everywhere on the terrace but wasn’t too loud because they used boxes) on the terrace the atmosphere was great too.
The prices were a bit on the high side but because of the quality it wasn’t too bad.
Would definitely recommend!

Wow at the atmosphere and their guitarist Philippe! What a vibe for a Monday night, totally totally recommend when you’re in Paris. It’s touristic but they know how to please their audience. Worth the hype!! Food was delicious & vibes were incredible. A few notes:

1. You NEED a reservation and it is incredibly hard to get one. It opens 2 weeks in advance and even though I checked the DAY OF, it was already booked up. We ended up using our hotel concierge to make the reservation, so if you have access to that kind of “in” definitely utilize it.

2. Would recommend going slightly earlier in the evening, before sunset, so you can enjoy the views as it transitions to evening time. We are at 9:30 so it was already very dark - still lovely but different experience

3. Our service was alright - waiter was not particularly helpful and a little bit short, but did an overall fine job.

4. Food - only complaint is that our pizza wasn’t super hot when it came out. Flavor was AMAZING but I am very temp sensitive, so that was a little bit of a bummer. Recommendations are the truffle pizza, beef carpaccio, and the puff pastry dessert that you dip in chocolate

5. The wine I posted in the picture was delicious! Highly recommend 😊

This was hands down the best restaurant experience that we had in all of Paris. Our waiter was incredible and kind. He had the best recommendations for food selections. I was a little worried that this would he a tourist trap given its location in the Louvre, but it ended up being one of the best dinners we had in Paris.

The vibes and the service were stellar. The food was delicious. We had the burrata salad, the pulpo, and the truffle
pasta, with sorbet for dessert. I get the sense that everything on the menu is amazing. Next time, I’m definitely
getting the truffle pizza!

Disappointing & sad experience. Cannot believe the hype and the praise this place gets. We were so excited to try this place and it’s honestly a regretful experience.

While the ambience is nice, that’s where the pros of the place ends.

From snobby servers who speak rudely, to rushed and unbothered service, terrible food that feels like you’ve been robbed while you eat.

We ordered the Truffle Pizzq and it was the most bland, tasteless thing ever. Not even a speck of salt or flavor.

The Rigate pasta was overly salted, and you could only taste that. Some pasta pieces were cooked well, some al dente. Server offered us parmesan cheese and went off to get some. Never saw her again, or the cheese.

Fries were average, also overly salted. The chef needs to learn how to balance his seasonings.

When we were paying the bill, the waiter asked us how the food was. When I replied honestly, saying it was disappointing, he rolled his eyes and said rude things in french thinking we wouldn’t understand.

All in all, first & last time this place gets my time/money.

I hope people realize the scam they are running here in the guise of a great location and ambience.

While the food and ambiance at this restaurant were excellent, how we were welcomed into the restaurant was shockingly terrible. The two members of staff at the door are unfortunately unprofessional and clearly incompetent.  Their behavior completely ruined what could have been a pleasant experience. I expected much better.
