Boulevard de Donostia
Not exactly your common recommendation - but, if you’re into fashion, I can genuinely recommend you to simply pick one of the benches by the boulevard and gaze at all the lovely dressed seniors in town. Slow life at its finest I believe.
Loretopea
In between Kontxa Hondartza beach and Ondarreta beach you’ll find this lil pearl! Not the most convenient spot to get to (not suitable for kids.) but if my 65+ parents can do it so can you! It’s worth it. 🌊
Betijai Berria S.l
Mentioned for several years in a row in the Michelin guide, Betijai is an awesome spot that well aligns with the food culture in San Sebastián, while their offerings dance with your taste buds.🤪

Mesón Portaletas
Pintxos and txakoli! Yum. Also great place to enjoy high quality fish and meat.
Gorriti Taberna
Locals favorite! Grad a Clara (beer+fanta lemon) and some pinchos and you’re good to go! Nothing fancy but awesome for a quick bite and good vibes.

La Viña
They serve (humbly speaking) the best basquian cheese cake you’ll ever encounter in your life. Period. However! Delicious food all together so make sure not to skip on that when you’ve stood in line for 15-45 minutes. (Again - worth it!!!).
Sport Taberna
Might not look like much to the world, but I hands down had my best restaurant experience in San Sebastián in this crowded sports bar. Rest assure that they will notice you and take your order even though you’re not even close to the bar.
