Great place must visit once go to Korea. This place reflect the old architect and culture of Korea kingdom. Will need 2 hours to complete discover here. If you want to have a good album. This one is one of the best choices

Loaded with history. Lots of walking and there is no golf cart kinda vehicle to ride around. So prepared to walk A-LOT! Most places are accessible by stairs, but only some have wheelchair ramps. Took about 3hrs to cover just the palace.

Place ticket 1000won per person. Visited on Tuesday at 10:30am, there were literally 5 people on the ground. By the time I left around 1:30, it was a bit crowded.

Secret Garden is a separate ticket 5000won and fixed time only. I didn’t do that part. Assume that’s another couple of hours at least.

There is no need to buy tickets in advance, just buy them at the counter. They accept foreign credit card or smaller denominations of won.

This historical palace is stunning. Best to go late in the day after the crowds have gone. I went at 330pm and was able to enjoy most of the palace alone. It really feels like you have gone back in time.

These places are steeped in history, this is undisputed, however,  once you have visited one Palace, all others seem the same and when you go through your photos it is hard to tell them apart. The setting is beautiful and it must be even more beautiful during full bloom season.

Is a very beautiful Palace that make our mind and soul feel calm and peaceful. Walking around is just like watching a Korean drama. Love this place. Highly recommended.
