I am a big sushi lover and have tried sushi in many different parts of the world, but this is honestly the best I have ever had. The sushi was seared in the authentic Japanese style, and the quality of the fish and all the ingredients was of the highest standard. The service was personalized and attentive. Went for omakase, and we were not disappointed. Fish was super fresh and got a ton of food. Left full and happy. Coincidentally, I ended up at Minako 7 years ago during a work trip. It was the best sushi I ever had and the omakase experience was never to be forgotten.

Fast forward to this week, where I was boasting about the best sushi ever in Stockholm and we were passing by during our trip with my partner. I made a reservation at Minako, which had great reviews, but I had no idea it was the same place from 7 years that changed sushi for me!!!

The head chef from before has unfortunately passed, but it’s still as good as it’s used to be.

It’s different from what I remember, more structured to be an experience rather than the sushi master just giving you stuff and jokingly telling you how to eat it.

Must go here on a trip to Stockholm, always. And always take omakase, worth every dime!!!
