Exceptional dining experience! The tasting menu, which changes daily, was nothing short of extraordinary. Anthony guided us through every course, showcasing creativity and decadence at its finest. Arriving at 1 PM without a reservation, we did have to wait an hour for a table, but it was well worth it. Highly recommend planning ahead to enjoy this culinary adventure.

Okay so if you think $100 dollars per person is worth spending for food that won’t change your life then this is a great option for you. If you don’t care about money, then it’s totally fine. If pricing matters to you, then you’re going to leave unhappy. It’s just too expensive for what you get in my opinion.
Now onto the dishes:
The scallop had a different texture to what I’m used to, it was tougher and less flavorful, but it didn’t feel like it was bad quality, just that it was different from the more common type of scallop. Unfortunately I would prefer the common type of scallop, soft and flavorful, so I mostly regret ordering this dish (again, it’s $40 dollars for a scallop starter so it should be really really special to justify the price).
Everything else was really tasty, great flavors. Again, if you don’t care about the price then sure it’s a great dinner you’ll have. The lamb birria taco was really tasty. The quail was also really flavorful and very special, a surprising dish in the best way! I think this was the only dish that would justify the price. The tongue was a bit contradictory for me, while the tongue itself was the best tongue I’ve ever had (the texture was insane) the dish as a whole lacked acidity and contrast. We tried ordering salsa verde to counterbalance the flavor but it never came. It’s too many bases in one dish and nothing that pops out, no highs.
Well, yeah overall we regret coming but mostly because we’re not rich enough to spend this much money in something that we will NOT remember for years to come.

We went to several incredible Michelin star restaurants during our trip to Mexico City, but, in the end, Maximo was our favorite meal of the whole weekend.

The design of the restaurant is such a vibe and the food was really next level. We had a 7:15 reservation on Saturday night and were taken to our booth at the back of the restaurant upon arrival. My husband ordered the espresso martini based on online reviews and I ordered my standard drink, tequila neat. He said that the martini was perfectly made and I was surprised and delighted that my tequila came with a side of fresh homemade sangrita.

For food, we ordered a bunch of things to share. Everything looked good but we ended up with the roasted beets, tuna and kampachi sashimi, roasted leeks, tagliatelle with oxtail ragu, sweet potato and ricotta agnolotti, roasted chicken and the filet. I legitimately cannot choose a favorite bite because each dish was as good as the next. For dessert we had the French toast and the truffle ice cream. The only dish I would comfortably say you could pass on is the truffle ice cream. It was creamy and delicious but didn’t taste much like truffle.

Make a reservation at Máximo asap, I promise you won’t regret it!

The food was incredible. Of all the upscale restaurants we went to on our trip, this was definitely the best one.

We went here to celebrate my birthday today and were very pleased with our experience. We ordered Iberian ham, sunchoke soup, oxtail ragu, the spinach ravioli with lobster and madeleine cookies. For drinks we had the pink pepper sour, and a negroni. I also received an additional dessert for my birthday. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed each course, but were not blown away. The ambiance was great and the service was fantastic. I would recommend to my friends!

Saw this restaurant on a TV news show so it was on my to-do list. I was expecting a long wait time, but I guess I got lucky and I didn't have to wait at all. There are no tables or chairs.  You go and order your tacos, and the chef cooks your tacos while you wait. Another employee is making fresh tortillas. The chef calls your name and hands you the tacos. Green hot sauce is available.  The tacos are tender, hot, and delicious. It's a simple meal served hot and delicious and inexpensive.  Highly recommended

These tacos were amazing. The quality and quantity of meat? So high. The salsas??? Amazing. The freshly made tortilla in front of your eyes? Simple and delicious. To everyone saying it’s just a piece of meat on a tortilla? That’s the point. They did not have to complicate things to make it taste amazing. This is great food. These are great salsas. The chef also is great. Love that it’s also in a mid area of the city - it just adds to the character of the place.

The trip to this taco stand is well worth it. Each taco featuring a different cut of perfectly cooked beef. The service was fast and friendly. The price is right. Their Michelin star is well deserved.

Michelin is a French tire company and I'm not sure they know what a good taco is. There needs to be a new rating system just for Mexican food and we need not rely on an elitist French brand like Michelin to tell us what good Mexican food is.

We had high expectations for the Conrad, but it was a significant letdown, largely due to the lack of care from General Manager Francisco Corbin and his team. Despite informing them of my wife’s birthday, there wasn’t even a simple acknowledgment. Worse, when I reported a cockroach crawling across my foot (photo attached), the management didn't care. Everyone knows if there’s one roach, there are likely many more hidden, yet this serious issue was ignored.

The food was another major disappointment—bland, uninspired, and nowhere near the quality expected at a Conrad. Even my children complained. Service was inconsistent, with some excellent staff overshadowed by others who seemed indifferent. At the kids’ club, our children were turned away because we weren’t immediately present, leaving them to wander off instead of being cared for.

We’ve stayed at many properties in Mexico before, and while they weren’t as luxurious, they had something this hotel lacks: heart and soul. Genuine care and attentiveness make all the difference, and unfortunately, this Conrad falls short. Beautiful facilities mean little when paired with poor leadership, bad food, and inconsistent service. We won’t be returning.

I attended a conference for work and brought my family, so we were there a total of 7 nights. The resort is gorgeous and just the right size to feel exclusive and intimate, but large enough to have a variety of options and views. The layout gives guests multiple options for quiet spots to post up at different pools. The beach is beautiful and in a calm cove. The food and beverage program was outstanding, and so was the service. For the work part, the conference center is one of, if not the, nicest I’ve been to. The catering, A/V, and service were top notch. Personally, my family enjoyed the resort amenities and restaurants and were well taken care of by the lovely staff.

Beautiful installation with incredible facilities like Spa, Store, many Restaurants to choose from, the Pools are breath taking. Perfect for a Honeymoon. Right on a private Beach. When you are at this hotel you forget about life for a while. The rooms are super comfortable, nicely furnished and have a balcony with a bathtub. Great people around at all times ready to help and serve the guests with kindness and care. A shout out to Gustavo, a waitress at the breakfast restaurant, he was excellent 👌 thank you all for making us feel special.
