This is one of Belgrade landmarks. It is very well known in city. Place where come sports teams, journalists, actors, politicians and others. Atmosphere is good and there is impressive terrace (only weather can be issue).
Food is very good, for this location this is not question. Selection of wine and alcohol is impressive. If you have a chance all recommendations for visiting.

Came here as 1st choice closed - traipsing around Belgrade after a late night arrival as flight super delayed and could not be bothered wandering the city.

The place has a nice garden but that was it. One order was wrong but they blamed us and they didn’t even suggest to change it with the right one. In the beginning the waiter said that they give bread first but to our surprise we were charged three times for the three baskets. We ordered bottle of water but it wasn’t poured evenly so they decided to bring another one without asking (not anyone of us wanted water as we had our own drinks and it wasn’t necessary). Of course it was charged again. Portions are okay size wise. The veal soup was like a ready made soup from a package to just add water and the meat inside was like from a can. The dessert we got was the poppy seed vanilla cake - big mistake. That was the worst dessert ever. We even got two… food wasted. Also, the waiter asked my friend if she wished ice cream on top and she said yes but he didn’t mention that she had to additionally pay for it. He didn’t even ask not once if everything is okay with the food. Quite expensive place, it’s not worth it guys.

It was delicious and delightful introduction to Serbian cuisine.
We chose the place with the colleagues by recommendation from a friend but had zero expectations. We were warmly welcomed by our waiter Ivica who fully contributed to our good experience at Ambar. He helped with the choice and explained the menu. We chose the special offer to try every menu position and as our waiter promised - he was serving the dishes until we couldn’t eat any more. He also made sure that our colleague who doesn’t eat meat had enough vegetarian dishes during the dinner. Overall it was amazing and tasty experience with great service. Oh, and the place itself inside and outside looks very cozy and warm. My strong recommendation!

I thought I'd stop by here on my last day in Belgrade because I used to work at the Ambar in Clarendon (Arlington) location in Virginia, United States. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the price was amazing for the absurd amount we got with the unlimited dining experience. I paid 30% less here with 3x the amount of food here and I was so happy.

So so much better selection and flavor than the Clarendon location. Like, 10/10 compared to a 3/10. The US location dishes got cheapened down in quality, portion, and taste over time as I worked there and I was disappointed until I visited the Belgrade location. The dishes and courses here were executed so well here! Mindblown.

Amazing experience!  We are visiting from the USA and the tasting menu was the perfect way to be introduced to Balkan cuisine! Our server Christina was very friendly and helpful.  It was very nice to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather.
