Great food and vibes in the heart of la fortuna! The service was quick and the food had great portions and was pretty good. The drinks were very fresh and used lots of real fruit and the nachos and coconut shrimp special was very good. We had a random dog come up to our table and he was extremely friendly and ended up sleeping right below our feet during our meal which we didn’t mind at all - but if you do not like dogs this might not be the best place.

Paid 9100 colones for a chicken cahuita

Good service from the staff, really friendly and ensured we had a good meal.

The food was well cooked and well seasoned. The chicken was tender and juicy. Portion size was good.

Nice decor and ambiance. They also have bar seating.

The food was OK. The beef nachos were not appetizing, even though the waiter did substitute guacamole for avocado.   The waiter put on quite a spectacular show in preparing the grilled pineapple with ice cream, but unfortunately the desert itself was not that tasty.  The one man band playing guitar was belting out popular hits from the 60 to 80's that made for an entertaining night.  The waiters provided efficient and friendly service. The salad was very good.

All in all I love this spot. We had a great experience. Note, if you order a steak, get your phones ready to take pictures or videos. The service was great as soon as we walked up. The whole atmosphere was on point. The live music was great. The whole seating area was set up nice. It didn't feel cramped. Food was great.

It was really beautiful to be in the tree tops in some of cloud forest areas. This allowed us to see some wildlife and plants that would have otherwise been impossible to see, including agoutis running around on the forest floor chasing one another, and so many air plants up close.

We had the impression, before going on the tour, that it would feel more adventurous though, going from bridge to bridge...we thought the hanging bridges would be suspended between deeper and wider canyons, much like zip lines are. But, instead, the bridges, suspended over relatively dense and shallower canyons, allowed for a more up close experience of some of the forest canopy and a few birds.
In addition, our English speaking tour felt too big, with 12 people, which surprised us, being the less busy rainy season. When i mentioned this to our guide (that the Spanish tour was a lot smaller with just two people), he gave me a snarky remark about having had the opportunity to choose that tour before we started.
If i were to do it again, i might do a guided hike from one of the national or private Cloud forest reserves and do the El Tigre Waterfall adventure on our own, which would have allowed for more time to soak in the forest, and the bridges, on our own. Granted, the guide makes all the difference, so with a different guide - one with a wider knowledge of both animals and plants, and who is a bit better at finding the wildlife - it could be a drastically different experience (i think our guides' name was Sergio?).

The tour was very nice and the guide hat a lot of knowledge! Sadly we didn’t see many animals as we went in the afternoon! Recommended to go in the morning!

Bridges are no the highest but they are great..
They included the Naturalist Guide on the tour making your tour better.
If you love Hummingbirds
And birds is a very nice place for to get some good pictures 📸
They provide the shuttle round trip to the bridges area.
