The food and service at Kafi Wasi was wonderful! It was our last morning in Arequipa and we were very glad to have dined at Kafi Wasi. Alfonso provided us with excellent service. I ordered the American breakfast and the V60 coffee. Alfonso brought a personal coffee pot to our table and allowed us to smell the aroma before pouring our drinks.

If you want great food and also a cool experience then I would suggest Kafi Wasi!

Loved sitting in the courtyard enjoying a light lunch with a delicious coffee. I had a French press with a Peruvian bean recommended by staff. It truly was a great coffee.

We had a delicious light sandwich followed by a fantastic pistachio mousse. The courtyard is a great place to sit and savor your local coffee. I loved the hand crafted coffee cup too. Such a wonderful start to my trip.

Charming coffee house that roasts its own coffee, thus providing excellent coffee and coffee drinks (cappuccino, flat white and so on). The interior is cozy, with comfortable seating, a beautiful vaulted ceiling and the classic Arequipa white stone walls. The small patio is also a delightful place where to enjoy your coffee, which can be ordered, besides the classic espresso and Americano, also as V60, French press, Italian Moka  and so on, quite a rarity and much appreciated. I will start with the good things:
The atmosphere is so fun and pleasant, on a cool evening the heating was really nice.
The restaurant was full of diners and this did not affect the personal and fast service.
The food is so delicious and the dishes are really big.
There was a short performance by a harpist that blended naturally into the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Thank you very much friends for a pleasant and delicious evening.

The ambience of this place was really nice and romantic. There was even a man playing the harp right in front of us. The juices and entree were very tasty. We ordered the lamp chop and ribs - they were soft and cooked to perfection but lacked some flavor. It tasted a bit plain on my opinion and the sauces left a lot to wish. On top of having miniature portions of sauce with no refills. The meal portions were huge! So I would recommend skipping the entree. The service was good but it took a while to get a hang of our server. Besides that, the overall experience was good.

A lively and bustling restaurant - there is an outside and inside section. We were seated inside which was quite nice for some privacy / less chatter. Highly recommend the salmon ceviche - husband says it is the best he's had (it was my first). We also really enjoyed the lamb soup - warm and hearty. Luis was our waiter who was hospitable and attentive :)
