We enjoyed our stay. 2 nights, 3 days. Didn’t get to see the northern lights due to clouds but still beautiful! Snowed a lot and was a good area. Not much to eat besides the restaurants on the resort or you have to drive 20 minutes to the city which is easy!
The igloos are cozy and beautiful! The resort makes it easy to do activities. They give you free snowsuits, gloves, boots, helmets! So nice. The food is good but is pricey. The breakfast is included and a good variety.
There are a TON of kids here so if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic couple vibe, might be kinda difficult. Overall a beautiful resort with lots to offer.

Superb experience. Good service. We had the family igloo, and the place was clean and had beautiful views of the lake and forest. Went on 2 excursions (Reindeer ride, husky ride) and they were magical. Food was delicious as well. Best of all, saw the aurora lights twice during the stay!

We had an amazing 4 days at this hotel. The aurora cabins are amazing. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the northern lights due to the weather as it was still a bit rainy/cloudy. Even though we didn't, we had an amazing time, it felt like a proper getaway from everything. Every day we walked around the resort to enjoy the reindeer, lake and fire huts. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing and filling. The excursion were well organised, exciting and relaxing. I really enjoyed this visit. The staff were always friendly and helpful and we had a really love staff member who checked us in and made sure we knew everything we needed to so we enjoyed our stay.

A bucket list kind of trip, Apukka was amazing. So many helpful guides and excursions to choose from. The rooms were cozy, even for my family of 4. The bed was a bit disappointing, it was lumpy. Other than that we had the best time snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice fishing, and spending time with the reindeer.

we really enjoyed Apukka Resort and would definitely go back! we stayed in an aurora cabin queen- very clean and comfortable beds. the highlight was the views from the windows and seeing the northern lights from our bed. the service was wonderful, the breakfast buffet was good and we enjoyed our dinner at the kota. highly recommend!
