We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not crowded. The food was good. Some small critics, the « ris de veau » was a bit lost in the plates and having more vegetables would be appreciated. The sauce was lacking some peps to enhance the taste of the meat.
The aubergine caviar was really good and the suggestion for the dessert as well.

We spend a really nice evening and the menu seems to change often. Good value for money.

Excellent food.  Portions could be a little more generous  but excellently cooked. Good service.  Only complaint was we were seated near the door and although next to the radiator we were still cold and came away feeling very chilly.  Will visit again.

We had a great lunch at this place. The food was really high quality and delicious. The place itself has a beautiful open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work

Belle table Roannaise dans le centre de la ville. Les plats sont bons. Un bel équilibre des saveurs et des textures de l’entrée jusqu’au dessert. Une cuisson de poisson parfaite. Une quantité juste suffisante pour apprécier sans sortir de table saturé.
La salle est sobre et accueillante. La décoration des assiettes est raffinée. Simple et sans fioriture.
Seul bémol sur le service. Les serveurs pourraient être plus souriants et avenants. Une présentation des plats inégale en fonction des serveurs. Temps d’attente assez long entre l’entrée et le plat principal. Idem entre le plat et le dessert.

Beautiful Roannaise restaurant in the center of the city. The dishes are good. A beautiful balance of flavors and textures from starter to dessert. Perfectly cooked fish. A quantity just enough to enjoy without leaving the table saturated.
The room is sober and welcoming. The decoration of the plates is refined. Simple and unadorned.
The only downside to the service. The servers could be more cheerful and welcoming. Uneven presentation of dishes depending on the servers. Fairly long waiting time between starter and main course. Same between the main course and the dessert.
