The chateau hotel and grounds are charming, quiet and relaxing. Our bedroom was spacious with period furnishings. The restaurant was very good-  super presentation, local produce, delivered by a friendly and knowledgeable team

The castle is definitely worth a visit, even if it's just to immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere for a night. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, the dining options are meticulously crafted and refined, and the prices are more than reasonable. While the range of services for a five-star establishment might be somewhat limited, the ambiance is nothing short of enchanting.

I found the service during the evening dinner to be quite delightful, where an incredibly sweet young lady made us feel pampered from start to finish.

Outstanding hotel, with magnificent architecture and history, lovely grounds, rich luxurious rooms and also first rate service. I stayed in the Chateau and the room was a little cool with it being -5°C outside, unsurprising given age and high ceilings, but worth packing your bed socks for. I felt like a Duc. Highly recommended and 15min taxi ride from the airport.

If you are looking for the 5-star experience, this is NOT it.  4-star at the most.
Rooms are dusty, tired, and dated.  Table lamps do not work.
Bathrooms have been renovated, but in a modern style, as opposed to a period style.  So, not in sync with the classic style of the castle.
In-room breakfast is very bad.
Keep in mind most 5-star reviews here are for the restaurant only.  Reviews about the hotel are much lower...

Great rooms both in the main château and the annexe (we went twice), especially for the price. Great balance between modern and antiques. Not sure about some comments below about the « rusty rooms » but if you re nice you ll get a nice room, and if you re obnoxious may be not.
