Truly amazing place with great hospitality! Hotel is super nice with modern touch. We especially enjoyed how clean everything is. Having dinner at the bistro was a culinary highlight including top service. We’ll be back soon!

My partner and I happen upon this great Auberge in Loire valley, whilst cycling from Nantes to Orleans. The owner who we didn’t meet has created a wonderful experience for anyone, looking for somewhere to stay to explore this fantastic part of France.

The place combines the the richness of the region with modern style and comforts as only the French seem to be able to do!!

We ate in the restaurant, à truly great dining experience, the food was amazing and the personnel serving expert in its delivery!

Something that speaks highly for an establishment in the day and age are the people that make it! The staff all knew exactly how to make you feel welcome and valued as a customers. It’s great to see people working with a smile and initiative!

we hadn’t ordered our breakfast for the next morning, however after eating in the restaurant we didn’t need any encouragement to reserve a table. We chose from the breakfast menu, and in the comment box, I jokingly said it would be great if the chef could get some watercress the go with my salmon and scrambled eggs!!

The next morning, and smoked salmon and scrambled egg appeared with a good helping of proper watercress, which apparently had been ordered and delivered overnight!

an amazing touch to finish off a fantastic stay at this hotel which we look forward to returning to soon to experience again.

Thank you to the owner and professional  staff, it was such a pleasure to discover and experience your establishment.

This is the second time I am visiting.  In the interim, the hotel appears to have been acquired from the couple (the chef and his wife) has been expanded and modernized.  The rooms are modern and are comfortable, though I kind of miss the small time inn feel.

The Auberge is located centrally allowing easy access to Chambord, Blois, and Chenonceau which is key.

However without a doubt, the jewel is the restaurant.  When I came here 7 years ago, there was just the fine dining restaurant, now they have added a bistro.  Both are still delicious and basically a steal compared to its quality if enjoyed in Paris.

Service in both the hotel and restaurant is very friendly and prompt.

No doubt, I will re visit in the future

This is a lovely modern hotel with excellent staff. They were all impressive. We had a room on the first (to the US person 2nd) floor with a balcony. It was a great place to sit and sip before dinner. Close to many chateaux. We had dinner in both the Bistro and the Restaurant and they were both excellent in food and service. Sorry, we could not stay longer. Highly recommend.

After having visited La Callière restaurant many, many times before the renovations, we could not have been more pleasantly surprised.  What a beautiful hotel/restaurant it is!!  We had dinner in their gourmet restaurant and were blown away by the beautiful, colorful dishes that were put on front of us.  The additional little bites that came with the dinner were fabulous.
The service was impeccable.  There is absolutely nothing wrong, it is all so perfect.  They certainly deserve a star, maybe even 2!!!  Thank you Eric and Aurélie,  you are the most perfect hosts!
