Super hotel, clean (renovated) rooms, newly installed swimming pool and saunas, nice breakfast buffet, great cuisine in evening at fair prices. Recommended, also with children.
Just a small remark: winelist contains many of out-of-stock wines, so stock needs to be replenished.

Schönes,liebevoll geführtes Hotel mit einem kleinen und feinen Wellnessbereich. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Umgebung ist perfekt für einen Wanderurlaub. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt!

Beautiful, lovingly run hotel with a small and fine wellness area. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The food is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. The surrounding area is perfect for a hiking holiday. We felt completely comfortable!

es gilt voller Überzeugung DANKE zu sagen für drei überragend schöne Tage in Ihrem mit ganz viel Herzblut geführten Hotel. Ankommen und die Entschleunigung kann beginnen, beschreibt Ihre Wohlfühloase auf  den Punkt. Der Wellnessbereich ist nicht zu toppen, hier fehlt es an nichts. Alle Details sind perfekt zu Ende gedacht. Angefangen bei den drei Saunen, dem einzigartigen Soleraum, der Schwimmhalle mit nicht selbstverständlichen Highlights wie Luftspudelsitzbank, Massagefunktionen und der Gegenstromanlage. Der Ruheraum mit Außenterasse und dem einzigartigen Blick auf das Meerfelder Maar gibt die Gelegenheit für ein gutes Buch und das dazugehörige Nickerchen. Alles schön und gut, mehr Lob geht nicht? Denkste, ihre Halbpension mit einem Frühstücksbuffet, dem es an nichts fehlt, wurde noch übertroffen von den abendlichen Drei-Gänge-Menüs welche wir in unseren Tagen in der Vulkaneifel genießen durften. Einfach nur wahnsinnig gut. Zu meinem Glück durfte ich den Küchenchef und Sternekoch bei unserer Abreise noch kurz persönlich kennenlernen und ihm unsere Wertschätzung zum Ausdruck bringen. Danke auch nochmal an Ihre netten Damen des Service im Restaurant und der Zimmer sagen Frank + Britta Schug. Auf ein garantiertes und hoffentlich baldiges Wiedersehen😉

We want to say THANK YOU with conviction for three incredibly wonderful days in your hotel, which is run with a lot of passion. Arrive and the deceleration can begin, describes your oasis of well-being in a nutshell. The wellness area cannot be topped, there is nothing missing here. All details are perfectly thought through. Starting with the three saunas, the unique brine room, the swimming pool with unusual highlights such as an air bubble bench, massage functions and the counter-current system. The relaxation room with an outdoor terrace and the unique view of the Meerfelder Maar gives you the opportunity to read a good book and take a nap. All well and good, couldn't you get more praise? You think, their half board with a breakfast buffet that lacked nothing was surpassed by the three-course evening meals that we were able to enjoy during our days in the Vulkaneifel. Just incredibly good. Luckily for me, I was able to briefly meet the head chef and star chef in person when we left and express our appreciation to him. Thanks again to your nice ladies in the restaurant and in the rooms, Frank + Britta Schug. See you again guaranteed and hopefully soon😉

Absoluut aan te raden voor wie houdt van rust, lekker eten en wandelingen. Gezellig familiehotel met leuke wellness en super rustruimte op de bovenste verdieping. Vrouw heel vriendelijk, haar man is een meesterchef! Die kan lekker koken! Ongelooflijk. Veruit de beste kok die we kennen in een hotel. Vooral als het er gesneeuwd heeft, prachtig uitzicht. Aan te raden!

Wife very friendly, her husband is a master chef! He can cook well! Incredible. By far the best chef we know in a hotel. Especially when it has snowed, beautiful view. Recommended!
