An amazing experience overall.

The atmosphere, dish presentation and staff coordination is unmatched.
Taste wise, I expected a bit more. A few dishes did however surpass my expectations.

A very notable fact is that even the substitute dishes (in case of allergies) are as good as or even better than the original dishes.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Unlike some of the bad reviews, service was exceptional for me and individually paced that I was in and out in 2 hours. All of the food was exceptional and the mushroom shaped bread was simply delicious to me and not dry as another dish indicated. Seafood leaning as opposed to meat (I think the only meat was marrow in a sauce). I’ll put it among top ten meals I’ve enjoyed. Had to ask to find out to use external elevator pictured alongside building by water to get to the restaurant.

Fantastic, yet extremely frustrating experience at Delta. The restaurant design and space is amazing and unique, yet the very awkward entrance from the elevator on the roof, facing a closed door without any signs left some clients (like us), wondering for few minutes where is the entrance without anyone to support (looking like a dead area with exit doors only).
We had a drink at the bar first. With its beautiful design, the drinks (cocktails and champagne) were excellent, yet the service was quite long, not especially nice and the Barman refused to bring us anything to eat with our drinks (any small bites or even olives as it’s seems to not fit with the philosophy of the place !!!).
The food during our dinner, 12 courses (5 small appetizers, 5 main dish and 2 desserts) were amazing in terms of creativity, attention to details and tastes (sometimes still issue with some balance), truly deserving its rank and even above. Truly sensational.
However the service was truly not up to any premium or luxury standards, not deserving any Michelin attention. Lot’s of discrepancy in terms of service quality and just smile attitude, a lot of different waiters, the sommelier was horrible in terms of attitude (fortunately at mid dinner a second one came over to help with great advice and smile). Last but not least we waited the bill for 30min (IT issue apparently, while we asked it 2 times), waiting with all glasses empty (water included) with no one coming to us. We had to complain to get a digestif to wait and apologize.
So we entered this place with a very bad feeling because of this terrible random lost entrance, had great time at the core of the dinner and ended it with long waiting time and bad service, which is not how you want to leave a place with such fame, at 350€/head (in Greece…).
Mastering food is fundamental for a restaurant and they truly delivered, but mastering the service part (attention to detail) is fundamental too when you command such high pricing and with 2 Michelin stars, and Delta did not delivered at all in this field. Very frustrating.
