My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Ristorante Il Portolano, and it was an unforgettable experience. Located on the edge of the sea, the restaurant offers stunning views of the water and a beautiful mountain backdrop.

Claudia, the restaurant owner, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Despite our mix-up with the reservation time, she graciously held our table for an hour until we arrived. Her warmth and hospitality made our special evening even more memorable.

Claudia recommended a spectacular Vermentino that we couldn't find at any other restaurant in Porto Cervo. The pasta with leeks and crab was a revelation – unlike anything we had ever tried before. The grilled fish was cooked to perfection.

We are happy that we chose Ristorante Il Portolano for our anniversary dinner. It was the best meal we had during our entire trip to Sardinia, and we can't wait to return on our next visit to the island.

Fabulous restaurant with one of the best views in Sardinia. Previous Michelin guide. We were seated for lunch, walking in without a reservation, and were lucky enough to have a table overlooking the sea. We ordered raw Seabass with lemon oil followed by seafood spaghetti, fennel, orange and walnut salad, and a nice bottle of Spumanti. Service was exceptional. The only issue you will jave is food envy when you see other fabulous dishes.

This place has improved, big choice on the menu and really great flavour combos! We went twice in one week for lunch and loved the food, the service and the gorgeous view. May be a tip: dont aak us 5 timea about which wine we have chosen, if we havent mentioned/ordered we just dont need any😉

Disappointing: food portions have discreased in size somehow...shame as location and food are of good quality! Also when I told the owner my antipasto 2 years ago was double in size he told me next time they can put me a bit more...really: thats not a way to take care of unhappy customer, cause maybe I wont be back :-( the place is on the high-price range so one should expect something on her/his plate for this price!

We had a wonderful lunch. Everything was exquisite: the food, the service, the atmosphere and the view overlooking the bay and the island of Tavolara. Highly recommended.
