This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were fantastic, with the swordfish being a standout dish—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The ambiance and service added to the overall experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Dined here outside late Nov 2024 with a group of 4 for dinner and had a great experience. Each of us got a pasta entree and shared a bottle of wine. The pistachio pesto was standout, so much so that I purchased a jar from their retail space next door that also offers other food and home products. I appreciated the eclectic but intentional style, making everything feel approachable and high-quality.

I was really looking forward to eating here, having heard so many good things about this place. The ambiance and location of the restaurant are delightful, and the service is truly lovely. However, the food was not as expected: our appetizers were great and varied, and desserts were really good (try all of them!), but my tuna with pistachio crust was fatty and low quality, which was disappointing. All the pastas were excellent, but some of us got soups with calamari, and that was also subpar.

Truly a pity, since good fish shouldn't be hard to find in Ortigia!

I recommend appetizers, pasta, and desserts - I unfortunately cannot recommend the rest. :(

The food was really delicious, and the decor was very cute. I recommend the rigatoni dish but it’s quite a small portion. The starters were nice as well. I was very uncomfortable by the attitude of the servers, they were passive egressive to customers and to the people in the kitchen. Additionally, the servers were not attentive enough to keep up with all the tables even though the place is quite small and there were 3 of them. They run out of the meatballs after my serving which was still quite early after opening.

A dining room with 2 rows of tables (a bit noisy and hot) and 10 tables for 2 on the sidewalk.
Expect a wait (do register for waiting for a table).
Service is efficient and accommodating.
The octopus dish (see photos) is tender and flavourful (€18).  Served on a bed of mashed potatoes that are a but bland and were great with the eggplant dish (Caponate at cost of €10).  The Caponate dish is recommended.
The pasta with shrimps (€18) was well done!
When seated, they bring a paper bag with bread (only "ok").
A large bottle of sparkling water cost €3.
All in all, a great meal!
