I came to this place after it had rained for several days in a row around Verona.
I look at the water, at its strength and power, at the way it hits the bridge and I am speechless with admiration. It's magnificent!
And be sure to go to the shop to the right of the bridge, where you can buy wine and snacks and walk out into the little fenced-in courtyard overlooking the bridge and the river.
You'll love it because there's no one there but you and the river.
