Fantastic food and friendly waiter.
We stumbled across this place while driving from Venice to the Dolomites. It is a high end restaurant in a rustic setting... an excellent start to our holiday!

All beautiful! The view, we were there in winter with snow. The restaurant is beautifully furnished, fireplace was lighted. We were in a very busy day and the found us a table at last, very friendly! Food was all tasty and well prepared. I often drive that road, for sure I will go again

Wonderful restaurant with awesome views.  Outdoor seating is great.  We loved the food, all dishes were delicious, well prepared and presented.  Ceps and chanterelle mushrooms were great, portions small though.  The only downside was the owner, not specially kind to us.  Neglected us to choose table even though most of the outdoor seating was available.

We were lucky enough to have dinner at Ristorante AceroRosso last night. We made reservations and had a great seat on the patio, facing the incredible view of the mountains. The service was attentive and timed perfectly. The food was the best meal we’ve had in South Tyrol. My husband started with the dumplings with shrimp and I got the mushroom pasta. Both were clearly freshly made and flavorful and delicious as well as beautifully plated. Our entrees were also equally delicious, my husband got the duck which was perfectly cooked and my filet was so tender and tasty. My husband’s dessert of the rhubarb and peach panna cotta was perfectly balanced and my Madelines with zabaglione (an Italian pastry sauce) was divine! All of he portion sizes were generous but not oversized. Along with our delicious view, we got to see the mountains turn pink as the sun set. We paid 115 euro for a glass of wine, 2 starters, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts - well worth this amazing meal!

Just off main road, up a windy road through the woods. Beautiful setting.
We hadn't made a reservation but luckily we were given a table from very helpful staff and I think the owner.
Food was high quality and really well presented (see photos). The owners and not forgetting our waiter were very hospitable and attentive.

There's some odd reviews so initially we were a bit hesitant,  but so glad we came. Looking forward to coming back.

Starters, main, wine, desert and coffee for 2 people was 110 euros - I think a fair price if you're looking for something a little more special.
