This is an insider tip: an exceptionally beautiful hotel in a very special place of power, directly above Lake Constance. It is particularly worth mentioning that it has an exceptionally good kitchen and service. The hotel rooms are a bit older but OK. The kitchen and hotel rooms are built and maintained in the local style. An overnight stay with dinner is an absolute experience that you should not miss when visiting the Lake Constance region. However, you must reserve your hotel room early. I recommend making a reservation at least 4-5 months in advance, otherwise it can be difficult. The restaurant has a second hotel down in the valley with the same number of rooms. However, the hotel up in the mountains is preferable whenever possible.  💪

Most of the service was great, and made an effort to speak to us in English and French.
Only huge disappointment when we asked to have breakfast outside,  there answer was a Big NO, but almost arrogant NO
And when we asked for more bread during dinner, we were told that qe don't usually have extra bread, and it's counted exactly per table, so they brought few more,  but they were not that happy about it. Next morning for breakfast we asked again more bread, and we go a straight forward NO!

Food and wine cellar are five stars. Service is deceptive. They try hard to not let you see the menu and offer lots of free surprises then they offer you things you think are free but they charge  huge cost for them. Be careful. Ended up with a splash of schnapps at the end and the tablespoon of liquor was CHF29 each!

Fantastic food, great service, great view.
Nothing to complain about.

If you are patient enough to book a table weeks in advance and have the money to pay for the incredible dishes, this place is one of the best in switzerland.

Highly recommend. Will visit again.

Very delicouse food, high class employee and beautiful view.
The Price class is high, but it's very good for the price!
You can easily land with the Helicopter and then walk about 50meters.
Also nice sunrise & very comfortable & quiet!
