I had an incredible dining experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was equally impressive. I visited for lunch, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, warm, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The combination of flavors and ingredients was truly fascinating, showcasing a modern twist on Chinese fine dining that was full of delightful surprises. I can’t wait to return for another amazing meal! Highly recommend!

The absolute best meal I have ever had, both the food and service were impeccable!

Took my mom as a birthday treat while we were in London. From the moment we walked in, we were diligently cared for by their amazing staff. The waiter that served us most often, Abraham, was outstanding at his job. He went above and beyond to take care of us, explained the dishes beautifully, and was patient and attentive our entire meal.

As for the food, there was not a single dish that we disliked! We did the Collections of China tasting menu (vegetarian version, as I am pescatarian and the regular set course contains beef/pork), and every course was carefully curated and beautifully presented. We especially loved the Sweetcorn, all of the Dim Sum, 'memories of peking duck', aubergine fritters, and desserts! Fair warning, it is 29 courses. That being said, the meal is paced out well and we didn't feel grossly sick or overstuffed by the end.

Undoubtedly among the best restaurants in London, would highly recommend if your looking for an outstanding and unique experience!

Perfectly sized meal for a special night out!

My father and I came on a Saturday evening and we were at the bar. The bar area does serve the whole menu along with the wine pairing. We went for the premium wine pairing. Overall, each course was well done and the pairing was perfect (Michael was very helpful as our sommelier!).

The price is high, but I think it is worth the quality and service. My favorites had to be all the fish dishes - especially the scallop!

Time to update my review. I have been here  4 times now, twice when it was a 1 Michelin restaurant and twice when it was 2 Michelin (and still is as at the time of this review). My latest visit was back in November for my mother's 60th birthday (yes I know, it took me a while to get round to finishing all my reviews) I have to say the food was still tasty and enjoyable but the atmosphere was less so this time around. Sadly whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal there was a table next to us that had disagreements with the waiting staff about minimum charges? Not entirely sure what the argument was about but caused a bit of a scene. It was a bit awkward because the tables are close-ish together, so it kind of felt like we were right in the middle of disagreement with them.    It was my mother's first time dining here so that experience didn't leave the best impression.

The food was still good though. Only managed to snap a few photos and obviously the obligatory custard bun.

This modern Chinese restaurant now holds 2 Michelin stars. I've been a couple of times when it was a 1 Michelin star restaurant and came in mid-November when it's now been upgraded.

We had the a la carte dim sum lunch. Unlike traditional yum cha, you order the dim sum individually. So, when you ask for one of something it means you just want one piece. You won't get one basket with 3 or 4 pieces of har gau for example. They do explain this at the start, but it's since it's not the normal way some people don't quite take note of that.

The menu is Cantonese food, but with a new interpretation. One of all of our favourites was the xiao long bao (Shanghai steamed dumpling, ginger infused vinegar). We also all tried the scallop and iberico pork cheung fun, which was a new take on a typical dum sum dish. It's more a millefeuille and the crispy pastry layers gave  a contrasting texture to the soft cheung fun. The 'memories of Peking duck' was like a mini duck wrap that had a noticeable smoked duck flavour and aroma. We also tried the crispy wonton with garlic, Wagyu rice, pork criustade, black pepper beef, bamboo noodles, siu mai, BBQ pork prawn plum truffle, scallop puff, wild mushroom bun, soy chicken, Chengdu street tofu, crispy Peking duck. The custard buns are still outstanding and oozy (so be careful when you bite in)!

We sat in the new conservatory area, which used to just be outside seating before they renovated.

Service was on point. They handled a situation with a neighbouring table where they misunderstood how the menu worked and hadn't paid attention to the fact there is a minimum spend, which is clearly stated in the confirmation email and on the website.

Our total was £434.70 including service. As well as the food we got cocktails - Henan and Xinjiang - and a sparkling jasmine.
