Have just been for the Christmas pub quiz and my love for this place just continues to grow.  The personable service at this pub is top notch and the staff is just the cherry on top! Chris, Millie and Clover took the best care of our family of five! Love, love, love the Rabbit!!! Thank you for such a special night during this holiday season!!

Great great fun. Run with almost military precision it is always a joy to have a night out here. l Went with my family on Christmas Eve and although it was packed the drinks were served promptly by lovely staff, overseen by an amazing guy that was scarey but nice. A few more casual seats would be helpful

Came here on a whim and managed to secure a table. Had the tasting menu and it was absolutely amazing! Servers were fantastic, big shoutout to Irina, such a wonderful, funny soul. She made the experience even better than it already was. Will definitely be coming back!

Arrived on a Tuesday to discover the kitchen was not open on Mondays and Tuesdays (Was not communicated to us before our arrival) so we walked up to the Plough in Kingham for food (highly recommend). The rooms are small for the price and there is a late check out fee of £100 per hour which is ridiculous. In-room amenities are lacking as well. You need to fill the kettle up from the bath due to dimensions and there are very basics provisions for a room which costs the same as a decent London suite. No room service despite a room service menu in the room and went we back to the pub at 2115 after leaving at 2100 to ask for 2 slices of the cake that was on the bar to be told it was no longer available even though 3/4 of it was still there when we left. As a Daylesford owned pub this is seriously lacking. For the cost you would expect a lot more. All in all very disappointing and would not stay again at this pub. The live music on Tuesdays is good however.

REVIEW FOR RESTAURANT & COTTAGE

Restaurant- Beyond disappointed by the service we experienced. A very long story, short, we had reservations at another place but our friends ended up feeling ill, so it was just going to be my husband and myself dining that evening, so we can canceled the reservation at the Trough. It was 5:30 pm so we popped over to see if we could eat at the Wild Rabbit and they kept telling us they were fully booked, even tho there were only 2 tables seated. We said, we’re staying at the Bunny cottage, it’s our last night in the UK (we’re from Dallas) and I’m 5 months pregnant with twins, could we just eat at the bar, could we take the food back to our room, could we eat quickly, etc. said they couldn’t seat us but they would check with sister restaurant, also all booked up. Sooo my husband and I are frantically trying to make reservations anywhere and nothing is available. We end up walking into the Kings Head Inn, they were also all booked up but were very accommodating and said they would squeeze us in. Given that we were staying at the Wild Rabbit and our other circumstances, I would expect better customer service and a bit more hospitality. On that fact alone, I will not recommend this place to friends or family.

Cottage - was cute and quaint. Loved that they provided fresh goodies from their local farm.
