I guess it's a decent taco place considering that it's in Denmark, but judging them as a mexican they are just average. Of course they are not bad, and for sure I would come back if I’m in the need of tacos again. I had the taco combo to try all of them and my ranking is: pastor, barbacoa, veggies. Can't believe that salsas need to be ordered as an extra. Nice place and friendly service.

After being in Europe since August 21, I had a serious craving for Mexican food. When I landed in Copenhagen, I immediately sought a restaurant for my craving and came across Hija de Sanchez. Walking there from my hotel, I was met by a much smaller restaurant than I expected. If I had done more research other than looking at the food, I would have realized this is a mostly-take-out restaurant. Although there is some limited inside and outside seating(one table to seat ~4 inside, several small tables for 2 outside), it is not the sit-down restaurant I was expecting. But, considering it was nowhere near Mexico, it was quite good. I ordered the taco combo, along with a side of beans and rice.

As someone used to eating a LOT of Tex-Mex in the States, I noticed immediately that the tacos and side needed hot sauce. Although there was some spice, there wasn't enough to make it taste more authentic. Given, can I blame them for not having them spicier? No, but it would be nice if they had a hot sauce that I could add on- whether it be Cholula or just plain Tabasco. Besides the lack of spice, they were pretty good. All three were pretty flavorful (although not extremely). However, the tortillas were tasty using any standard.

BUT (and this is a big but), they are obscenely expensive. For my taco combo and side of rice + beans, I paid 175 kroner... AKA €23.5... Seriously? I'm sorry, but this was so expensive I don't think any part of the meal could justify it.

Ordered a taco combo (two meat, one veg), rice and beans and nachos with guacamole and salsa. Everything was tasty. But to nitpick - the meat could have been a little juicier and the rice and beans a little hotter. It wasn’t the taste explosion I hoped for, but still very good overall quality.

I ordered the taco combo and agua de Jamaica. Al pastor were by far the best l’d recommend those over the taco combo. They were good for being in Denmark. I was a bit upset that they charge extra for salsa but other than that I would recommend and would definitely visit again!

I really enjoyed the taco combo. Good variety of tasty tacos. The margarita was excellent. The prices are quite high but I think it was worth it. I recommend coming here for dinner and dining in because it is the atmosphere and music that really adds the value to the meal.

The concept is great, but there are a few areas for improvement. The service was quite slow, with long waits between dishes. We ordered the menu to share (500kr per person), but the portions were small. While I get that it's a tasting menu, it still didn’t feel like enough. The flavors were good, but the overall experience could be better, especially with more attentive service. For example, our drinks were empty for a while, and when the glasses were cleared, no one asked if we wanted refills. The table also stayed dirty while we waited. Friendly staff is nice, but the service could use more attention to detail. Some simple changes like bigger portions, extra cutlery with the new dishes, and better customer service would really improve the experience. Can be worth trying, but I wouldn’t come back for a full meal, maybe just for a drink next time 😊

By far my favorite place to grab a drink in all of Stockholm!

Hosoi describes itself as a listening lounge that delivers vinyl tunes from all the corners of the world, in an atmosphere that is unmatched to anything you will find anywhere else in stockholm!

Along with the amazing atmosphere is a simple but very well curated list of wine, beer and cocktails. I would come back for the Sakura Blossom Negroni any day of the week!

If you go during the weekdays, you will generally have a much more chill and laid back experience, while if you go on the weekends, the place will be packed.

Hosoi also has a restaurant section that I haven’t tried yet, but am eagerly awaiting to! Will update the review when I have tried that as well.

I wish I had more pictures of there, but I would honestly not wanna spoil too much of the experience, it’s better you go and see for yourself!

Good atmosphere and interior. Food is all small plates, 3-4 per person is recommended. Definitely on the pricey side once the plates stack up. But everything we ordered was quite good.

My only complaint is that it was kind of hard/confusing to locate from the outside, as their signage is quite subtle/hidden. I ended up walking past their door twice.

Amazing place, love it.

Only one tiny details though:

If you enter the secret room in the back there is a red couch to your left near a funky light and I was slightly disappointed with the firmness of the couch.

My bum felt a little sad, my friend approves as well.

Got a bad review? No worries! Even the comfiest couch has a bum spot—you just need to shift your perspective a little and keep sitting pretty!
