It's located by the Årevägen and look over the lake, good location. Many sitting places, inside and outside (on summer). I get an ice cream, price 59kr for 2 flavours. I get strawberry and lime sorbet. It's an award winner ice cream and I think it's fine. I didn't try the bakery but I overheard people said that the bullar is really good. I came 30 minutes before close and I saw fresh baked bullar, which mean this place is popular and always make a fresh baked bullar.

Fantastic place to get great coffe and baked goods. It was quite busy when we went but nevertheless the staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend after a day on the slopes, because they also offer a fresh selection of lunch meals and toasts. A must-visit in Åre.

About 5 km east of Åre you can visit the chocolate factory. There is a cafe and you can buy various chocolate products, manufactured just there. Outside there are tables and a large car parking. I wish there would be table service.

Must visit when in Åre. Consistent over the years in producing quality chocolates that satisfy the sweet tooth. Lots of flavours and varieties. Hot chocolate was the right creaminess, topped with a mountain of marshmallows on a bed of light whipped cream. Soft served ice cream was very popular. The shop has modernised over the years but still retains a small town charm and coziness. Staff is the usual cheery and helpful. High traffic area but good safe distance and crowd control in the shop. There is always a queue rain, snow or shine to get in but moves fairly fast. Nice outdoor seating area during Summer with a stunning views of Åre.
