Wow, om du letar efter att blåsa bort av en uppmärksam matupplevelse tillsammans med ett fantastiskt urval av råvaror, är detta platsen. Kunskapen om fisken och sake var exceptionell med teamet som lyckades arbeta i enighet med ett magiskt flöde. Fiskens smaker och färskhet är nästan oöverträffad, där kockarna respekterar proteinet vilket återspeglas i Servicen. Jag hade nyligen en underbar upplevelse på en Japansk restaurang. Atmosfären var lugn och inbjudande, med en vacker design som fick mig att känna mig som om jag var i Japan. Personalen var varm, vänlig och mycket uppmärksam under hela måltiden. Maten var fräsch och utsökt

Hur ger en mer än fem stjärnor? 

Maten, atmosfären, den oklanderliga Servicen, Gabi, sittplatserna, vibbarna, musiken — nämnde jag Gabi? 

Vi var helt bländade. Varje maträtt var förberedd med sådan omsorg, och varje tugga var en explosion av smak. Hela kvällen flöt på utan ansträngning, tack vare den genuint svala och Välkomnande atmosfären värdarna skapade. I slutet av kvällen sjöng vi ”Happy Birthday” och poserade för en Polaroid, ledsen att upplevelsen hade nått sitt slut. 

För sammanhanget: Jag är en New York-snobb som är väldigt petig med kvaliteten på sushi och den övergripande omakaseupplevelsen (se min andra recension på Kabuki Lisboa). Jag har varit på många topplaceringar, och Ri Omakase häpnade mig fortfarande helt. Maten är obeskrivligt god, men IT är hela upplevelsen som gör IT magisk. 

Och tro mig, jag hatar folksamlingar och småprat med främlingar. IT är inte min grej. Men på Ri? IT kändes annorlunda. Bekvämt. Special. 

Se bara till att boka i god tid. Vi hade 9:an. 30 p.m. sittplatser och kom inte hem förrän efter midnatt — Gabi och team, tack för en sådan älskvärd och oförglömlig natt!

The cutest corner cafe,

Amman has a lot of pretty cafes, but there was something very charming about Rumi. The decor and seating arrangements were very well put together giving you this European/ Arabic vibe. I wasn’t wowed my the food to be honest, just regular sandwiches, I wish they had more variety. The coffee was delicious. Definitely worth going to.

One has to start by saying that the service deserves 10/10
The menu and the way they display their Cake's and explain one by one makes you want to try them all but I did settle on the Cardamom and what  a brilliant choice that was
We also ordered the Turkey 🦃 sandwich which is very nicely presented and very tasty too
Another of our orders was the Watermelon 🍉 Juice and I personally asked for a Flat White which was made as requested 65⁰ and was truly made with TLC.
Well worth visiting again and I personally want to thank Laith the Jordanian 🦁 🐈😺

I came in today for a coffee and a dessert. Exceptional service and I particularly liked the following:

Gluten free apple cake was amazing. Not too sweet and was great with a sweet iced vanilla latte.

American coffee was also really good combined with a sweet creamy crème brulle.

Would definitely recommend. Amazing vibes especially for working and meeting friends in between.

This is hands down the best cafe in all of Jordan!
The atmosphere here is incredible and inviting! They offered mist sprayers above you that help in cooling you down during the summer heat. The coffee here was simply amazing, and the staff are incredibly friendly. A big recommendation!

This place is so magical, the atmosphere,  the people.  You can notice that every detail is made with love. We had a wonderful breakfast, and the service is incredible.  The shop has really nice handmade items to see.

First time visiting Shams el Balad for breakfast and it was a lovely experience. The location and atmosphere were very unique. The food was amazing and the portions were great for sharing with a group. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

This charming restaurant features a beautiful garden and a rustic vibe, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The food was incredible; we enjoyed hummus, moutabal, chicken wings, zaatar chicken, tomato salad, and spicy halloumi. Everything was excellent, but my favorite was the spicy halloumi. Our waitress, Maria, forgot to bring our water but offered it on the house when reminded. Maria was very attentive and sweet, and we really appreciated her service. We were also given a complimentary dessert, a berry cheesecake, which was delicious with homegrown berries.

After dinner, we headed downstairs to the bar, which has a cool interior and a very cozy ambiance. I wish they had more variety in cocktails, though. We ordered a basil Orta and a whiskey sour; both were good.

A small comment: avoid ordering via the app, as the orders don't seem to go through. It's best to order directly with the waiter.

There is also a small shop at the entrance selling locally made kitchen accessories, art, handicrafts, candles, and more.

Overall, it was a great experience, and this place is perfect for a nice get-together with friends and family.

The waiters are very innocent and polite. However, despite making a reservation they made us wait 30 mins to be seated. Prices are ridiculously expensive. Food is alright. For me making uncessary additions/modifications to authentic dishes is not my thing. The ambience is nice but it was very hot . It was not enjoyable on a summer day lunch. We just wanted to leave as soon as we finished our food. I think the only reason this restaurant is popular among expats is that it offers alcohol. I would rate this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if the price was fair but considering the high price tag and the time we had to wait to get seated I am only giving ⭐️⭐️. I also did not like that when we left our clothes was covered with starch from the bread that we paid for.

I came to Jordan for a 5 days stay, and came to eat in this restaurant twice. The food was amazing, everything I tasted was delicious and healthy. Highly recommended it.
