Delicious bakery! The croque monsieur was a wonderful sourdough with gooey cheese that softened the bread. Good for vegetarian as meat can be substituted for shiitake mushrooms.

The coconut cream tart was super flaky and delicious! Our favorite.

Heard that this bakery was a “must check out when in SF” and honestly I can see why the hype is there! There was a line when I got there but it moves quick. There are so many breakfast/brunch options and an assortment of delicious pastries to choose from.

Got the morning bun, chocolate croissant and regular butter croissant. My favorite has to be the croissant as the texture, flavor and crispiness was on par with what I want in a croissant!! Paired with a latte, everything was honestly delicious.

Not a SF native and wasn’t expecting it but parking can be a bit of a hassle but it’s do-able!

The almond croissant is super flaky with lots of almond paste. Got a gougre, a whole country loaf, a ham and jalapeño croissant, an almond croissant, a morning bun, and a cold brew. One of the hot favourite of San Francisco and the place known for its long waiting lines and supposedly out of the world sweetbreads.  We went on Sunday morning and had to wait for less than 10 Min.
We tried normal and chocolate croissant, banana cream pie, chocolate eclair and three sandwiches.  The pies and desserts were good l, but for sure not out of the world and were for sure overpriced. $5 croissant was total rip-off esp. when it did not taste any different than 1 Euro one you can get in any shop in France.

The sandwiches were in-fact quite tasty and bread used was amazing.

Overall in my opinion the place is overrated and also overpriced.

This is the most hyped bakery in the city so there is always a line but it moves fast. I honestly think the best thing to do is to buy their whole sourdough, the sandwiches were good. I also think there are better chocolate croissants in the city

Wow!! Loved the ambiance of the open food prep area and wood fired grill. Menu items were creative and delicious. Six of us came in for lunch and shared many menu items. The tomahawk steak was amazing...try it with the wild mushrooms. The sourdough bread was perfect with the grilled avocado and ham garum dates!!! We came there  for our first dinner at Napa with high expectations about food, service and view. The price is high as expected, the view is romantic and cool when you stay outside. We waited for a while for entrees with a $20 salad appetizer...it was not bad, mix sauce every single leaf. We order half grilled chicken and shoulder pork chop with corn and rice. The food was good with even spices and smoky flavor. However the service was bad. It started well with friendly chat and order fast, after the appetizer came, no one came or stopped by to ask, then food came by another waiter, and continued our waiter didn't come to ask about either how food was or we needed to order more wine...until we finished and gave a check.
It is the fine restaurant with good food but the service was not at the high level.
Recommend for food, but up to you comes with luck with service.

The charter Oak restaurant is definitely an awesome, beautiful and posh restaurant to have lunch. The food, the service the ambience make a great lunchbox between tasting at multiple wineries. From the minute we walked in I knew this was going to be a great restaurant. Jessica, who was our waitress provided excellent service and the food was not only fresh but also delicious and savory.

For anyone looking for a great lunch spot that is family style, outdoorsy, and very posh this is the place.

We loved dining here. There are options to sit in the lush courtyard or the large yet cosy indoor option. The hearth is grand and I love that almost all the food is touched by it. Service was great, the menu was innovative and it’s very family friendly! Menu for kids available and they even provide a little play dough to keep them entertained
